I love the 2 farm tip! Holding on to your quests has another (in my eyes more important) effect: Higher impatience gives lower hostility, leading to better resolve. If you don't get any blueprint or great perks, hold on to it as long as possible. Also, try to cash in 2-3 quests at once and notice how resolve drops.

Most of the time on P20 I cash in orders ASAP. This is because finishing orders often gives you population and unlocks more blueprints both of which dramatically improve your production speed. Early game, it's more important to do this than farm resolve.

I feel like I missed something - what’s the benefit of not turning in the quests when you finish them? Don’t you decrease the impatience by 1 no matter when you turn it in?

Yes, but the impatience can not grow higher than cap. So when disaster strikes you get less impatience and than you can decrease it by turning in the quest. So the benefit is the impatience you will not get due to being on max impatience.
