Oh my gosh Monica, yes! That's exactly what I've been feeling. As a pitta/kapha, I've honestly been enjoying the quick pace because I tend to be a little slower. So I'm doing my best to harness that while staying grounded and making it all sustainable! I appreciate this video and your tips!

FEELIN' IT! ~~~~ Yes, there is a crispness to the air today and the energy is f l o w i n g! #1. Looking to transition to Vinyasa classes during the evening times where I played Ultimate Frisbee over the summer. #5. I've been craving SQUASH and thankfully it's ready from the garden. Red Kuri squash, to be exact. Using it in quick breads, curries, etc. Hooray - this Vata loves Vata Season so much.

YES!!!! This is Grrreeeeeat!! Love the swap of ultimate frisbee into yoga instead (brill!) and the squashes! Don't forget a little oil drizzle on that and it's great for dipping bread in also (a lil' olive oil dip is always so yummy and great for vata). GREAT job!! Keep it up!

Should've watched this as soon as you posted it; I'm getting over my annual "fall" cold now (I'm a Vata). I have bounced back pretty nicely & taking care to not rush back into things as if nothing happened. Love your positive energy, always! It's hard to pick just 1 practice... but, I'll go with getting outside. I already miss the extra long, sunny days. I loved walking my dog today especially.

YES! Get outside, that's a great practice. Enjoy the outsides and for your cold, sip some ginger tea and have mildly spicy warm foods :) :) Or, a good bowl of pho (if you have it where you live) kicks out a cold in no time!! Thank you for being here and watching!! :)

As someone who has had serious Vata imbalances all life long,if ovewhelm has been a constant for me,i am wondering if there is hidden vigor in me around fall time that i may not have been aware of or at ease with. Have always been really sensitive to cold, struggled with sleep too,and am now coming into my own with grounding practices and food. I do love the colors, the rain and snow of Vata seasons tho, minus the cold. Maybe if i build my body back up with some fat and proteins,i will feel better during cold days. I definitely love oil massages already, sesame is great. But yea, i am feeling it! I feel the indecision between braving the cold or staying inside for comfort and warmth. And i also love walking in the snow and feel the softness and freshness of it. We are having early snow this year, yay!

It sometimes is hard to avoid raw food, especially fruit. I just love em, that light feeling and freshness, but it fucks up my digestion if I eat too much. But now that fruits get our of season, it‘s easier. I‘ll eat some raw seasonal fruit in the morning tho and then have that grounding porridge. :D

HA! You can have citrus fruits raw! Those are sour and great for vatas in vata season. But I totally know what you're saying about the light and fresh feeling of raw foods. Sometimes we can have them (if agni is strong enough and usually better when it's warm out), but sometimes if we already know it's no bueno for us, best to make a new choice :) Rock that grounding porridge!! 😄👏
