For basketball players that want to start getting into this amazing game, your best bet is to ask yourself : what is my best position on the court ( for me I best at defending and passing and getting people open) so I’d chose to be a defender. Soccer is fun, it’s all about learning and quick thinking❤️

The more you play the more you learn about spatial awareness and understand the game and pitch more. Your teammates should know and understand (depending on coaching) how to make themselves available for you but if you genuinely have no options and you're being pressed then it's fine to lump it to your striker and take the ball to the other side of the pitch.
