I am in touch with the new joiner team to help with onboarding. They will help me until my first day of work which is in one and half month. I just got an offer letter for a non-profit health organization for an I.T. position. It has a lot of the same elements of my previous job but they are offering $18,000 a year less. Is this because it's a non-profit? Looks like it might be a good place to work and my boss seems like he'll be a good guy but, man, they are kind of cheapskate and only hand out 3% per year raises. That was told to me upfront. Anyway, I need income immediately and feel like I have no choice but to take this.
