I have nothing but respect and admiration for you even though I grew up Catholic I did religious studies in college and I love Islam I think it’s a beautiful religion it teaches a lot of things that are in the Bible. He said: Let me take retaliation. He said: Take retaliation. He said: You are wearing a shirt but I am not. The Prophet (ﷺ) then raised his shirt and the man embraced him and began to kiss his side. Then he said: This is what I wanted, Messenger of Allah! 💞Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2732 Narrated 'Aishah: "Zaid bin Harithah arrived in Al-Madinah while the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was in his house. So he went and knocked at the door, so the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood naked (1), dragging his garment - and by Allah! I did not see him naked before nor afterwards - and he hugged him and kissed him." (1) They say that the meaning of naked here is that he was not wearing his Rida or upper wrap and it was that which was dragging, so the area between the navel and knees were covered. See Tuhfat Al-Ahwadhi. 💞surah4:43 O,believers! Do not approach prayer while intoxicated1 until you are aware of what you say, nor in a state of ˹full˺ impurity2-unless you merely pass through ˹the mosque˺-until you have bathed. "Thereupon Anas's daughter said, "What a shameless lady she was ! Shame! Shame!" 👉Anas said, "She was better than you; she had a liking for the Prophet 👈 👉 so she presented herself for marriage to him."👈 💞surah 33:59 O Prophet! We have made lawful for you your wives to whom you have paid their ˹full˺ dowries as well as those ˹bondwomen˺ in your possession, whom Allah has granted you.1 And ˹you are allowed to marry˺ the daughters of your paternal uncles and aunts, and the daughters of your maternal uncles and aunts, who have emigrated like you. 👉Also ˹allowed for marriage is˺ a believing woman who offers herself to the Prophet ˹without dowry˺ if he is interested in marrying her-˹👈this is˺ exclusively for you, not for the rest of the believers.2 We know well what ˹rulings˺ We have ordained for the believers in relation to their wives and those ˹bondwomen˺ in their possession. As such, there would be no blame on you. And Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 💞Sura38:6(7.) “This thing”: the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) asking them to affirm faith in La-ilaha ill-Allah so as to overpower both Arabia and the adjoining lands. 'O Umm Salamah, do not bother me about 'Aishah, for by Allah, the Revelation has never come to me under the blanket of any of you apart from her.'" 💞 allah cant protuct even quran and muhammed also 👉Sunan Ibn Majah 1944 It was narrated that 'Aishah said: “The Verse of stoning and of breastfeeding an adult ten times was revealed, and the paper was with me under my pillow. When the Messenger of Allah died, we were preoccupied with his death, and a tame sheep came in and ate it.” 💞Sahih al-Bukhari 4428 Narrated `Aisha: The Prophet (ﷺ) in his ailment in which he died, used to say, "O `Aisha! I still feel the pain caused by the food I ate at Khaibar, and at this time, I feel as if my aorta is being cut from that poison." Why allah can't inform muhammed abt poison in food which safiye give him at khaiber? 2 sons of muhammed was died when they are child.. Allah cant save them also and first wife khadeeja and a daughter too.. Then how he can protuct you and 160 crores muslim all over the world? 💞☹️surah 16:93 Had Allah willed, He could have easily made you one community ˹of believers˺, but He leaves to stray whoever He wills and guides whoever He wills.1 And👉 you will certainly be questioned about what you used to do.👈 💞(6:35) Nevertheless, if their turning away grieves you, then seek - if you can - either a way down into the earth or a ladder to the heavens, and try to bring to them some sign.23 👉Had Allah so willed, He would have gathered them all to the true guidance. Do not, then, be among the ignorant.👈24 💞Sahih al-Bukhari 5058 Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri: I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, "There will appear some people among you whose prayer will make you look down upon yours, and whose fasting will make you look down upon yours, but they will recite the Qur'an which will not exceed their throats (they will not act on it) and👉 they will go out of Islam as an arrow goes out through the game whereupon the archer would examine the arrowhead 👈but see nothing, and look at the unfeathered arrow but see nothing, and look at the arrow feathers but see nothing, and finally he suspects to find something in the lower part of the arrow. 💞Sahih Muslim 147 It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Verily 👉the faith would recede to Medina just as the serpent crawls back into its hole.👈 💞 sahihul muslim 143a 💞sahihul muslim 143 💞💞Sahih al-Bukhari 5105 💞You muslim people first try to understand how many time Quran says prayer in a day.its only 2 times in a day.. @@thealhasanis Check sis Jilbab and Niqab and so on, those are the valid and appropriate ones. - Jilbab is mentionned in the Quran. 24:31 and the scholars have explained the conditions and minimum what the hijab should adhere to. I used to think that's a hijab but it's not, don't be confused because back in the days I used to be like that too. Her "Hijab" doesn't look like this at all , first of all the sister is wearing MakeUp infront of strangers ( Non-Mahrems ), next we can see and we are that her clothes are'nt loose so that we can notice how she's shaped, also her headscarf should'nt cover all over her chest and be loose and the list goes on ... • You're a convert and I see where you are coming from, those Influencers won't make you learn nothing about the true conduct of a Muslim woman, As a born Muslim myself i was astonished and later super decieved when i've realised that all what i've learned is cultural not adhering to the fundamentals of Quran and Sunnah. I recommend you as I did alhamdoulillah to learn the religion from the AMAU academy which benefitted me more than any KZbin Hijabi "Influecer" ever did or society teached me, Alhamdoulillah everything became crystal clear for me and I've weared the appropriate hijab instead of what we think it's. - Your reaction is understable, it was the same as mine and even more because I was born Muslim but Qadaru Allah, it's better to stick to the scholars who are upon the Quran and Sunnah with the understanding of the rightoeus precedors ( the 3 first generations after the death of the prophet ) around 200 years before deviant beliefs and corruption and compormising on the deen started to wide-spread and look where we at now sis, May Allah guide us all. NO “ladies’HIJAB” found in the Quran. The word HIJAB is used in the Quran but not for ladies. Check these Ayath/verses that they say have Hijab in them. (But not found) In Quran 33.59 - “ … JILBAB over themselves…” in Quran 24.31 - “… Khimar over the Jayb..” The word is KHIMAR in the Quran.24.31 - Root Meaning of KHIMAR is just a COVERING, it can also be a neck scarf, any scarf, dupatta, chadar, etc. There is no head, hair, veil, niqab or any such importance in the Quran, Check the transliteration of Quran 24.31: “yadribna bi’Khumur’ihinna ala juyoob’ihinna” [Plurals : khumur, juyoob] // *..put forth the Khimars OVER THE JAYBs…*// KHIMAR = COVERING and JAYB just means OPENING - like an opening in a dress, deep-neck, like shirt pocket - is a jayb To verify from the Quran check this example in //Quran 28.32 (part) “…. yadaka fee jayb’ika …”. // “… put your hand in your Jayb..” (clearly a pocket or opening in the dress) (or) some people translate it as chest/ bosoms coz that’s where the Jayb is. Look at where the importance is in the verse: “COVERING over the Jayb” - but the EXPLANATIONS of ‘Sect’ /Firqa leaders promoted the concept of ladies’HIJAB - by adding it in books written much later after the Quran AND by adding words with brackets in translations and explanations - gradually shifting the importance of COVERING the Jayb - giving importance away from the Jayb seems like DISTRACTION from the main EMPHASIS. - AND also these Firqa leaders wrote the Dictionary centuries later to push their meanings - please ask them : when and who wrote the Dictionary that they show their meanings from? We should not accept new meanings to the words after the word is used in the Quran - in the present era the meanings can be understood by checking the same word usage within the Quran - see where the word is used again. QURAN is it’s own DICTIONARY within it - (by using the important words in other verses and locking the meanings). They should know when the same root word is used for khumur/intoxicants even then it’s used for “COVER” - - any intoxicant or alcohol COVERS the ability INSIDE THE MIND - - Please NOTE : khumur /intoxicants/ALCOHOL does NOT cover the HAIR or outer-head. How can a religion claiming to be for the whole world - promote desert clothing for far off freezing lands? They’re Spreading culture and calling it religion - They took the desert clothing that is needed in sand storms and called it religion OTHER religious groups were ALREADY wearing it in the desert. IF anyone wants TO FOLLOW WORDS OF ALLAH then they should verify with the Quran - coz every secondary source should match with the Quran AND they should not add words in translations. JILBAB: Means any decent OUTER CLOTHING worn above the under-garments - it’s plural is JALABIB The verse in the Quran 33.59 is about JILBAB - it’s about wearing outer clothing - where it also says that “they can be RECOGNISED and NOT HARASSED” So the condition is to be recognised : how will anyone RECOGNISE if you cover fully? - So avoid tight clothing - it’s really simple as per Quran. Wearing clothes that the security personnel and other people are scared of coz they cannot recognise the person inside - as a result you face difficulty and then that results in feeling harassed. Check the verse Q.33.59 below and remember that some translations or interpretations have added words in brackets - so look at Arabic /or word-to-word translation to VERIFY, yes VERIFY. “… alay’ihinna min jalabib’ihinna… “ (Plural-is JALABIB) -- //Quran 33.59 O Prophet! Ask your wives, daughters, and believing women to draw their JILBAB over themselves . In this way it is more likely that they will be RECOGNISED and not be HARASSED. And Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful// -- Notice it’s only talking about properly covering themselves - there is NO emphasis on head, hair, face covering in this verse also. - Some of them will not VERIFY what is in the Quran - word by word. And you may get to see how they will jump to start calling IGNORANT and names to the person showing them the research.

I'm no a hijabi but I'll tell you something: never hear other people. People are dumb, honestly! You just be yourself and follow your choice. If you choose to be a hijabi just do it and another thing: looking unconfident in front of people won't help you. Asertivity: Google that. Don't allow people to hurt you but also don't you hurt people. Communicate nice but don't allowing people to unrespect you. That will make you more approachable and by looking confindent they'll forget about hijab and they'll focus on your amazing personality ❤

@@themoon8178 Someone in our line, (either our great-great-great-, great-great-, grandparents, parents or us) left due to an educational opportunity, love, financial opportunity or simply a holiday, and we found ourselves more understood and happier in the West. I love Egypt, but I couldn't live there. I tried. I learned the language, studied, worked and I have friends there. Same with Damascus. It's not my culture. Religion is CENTRAL to culture, but it's not everything. Do you know what it feels like to have a snow day on the day of a big test? I DO!! The immense RELIEF and GRATITUDE!! Do you know what it feels like to go to marching band camp, to perform in front of judges, or to run at a track meet? This is a shared cultural experience only Westerners would understand. You go where you belong. Where your sense of humor, order, preference for weather is. It's no accident Allah makes us love these countries, as we are available for questions by those who are curious about Islam. And they do ask, alhamdulillah. My husband is a convert from two decades ago. This was possible because he encountered Muslims and asked questions. The world is big, alhamdulillah. Not everyone wants to live in predominantly Muslim countries, and some of us practice much more deeply when we can't get complacent. I'm a representative. I dress nicely, I'm extra helpful. I'm on stage with a spotlight on me. It makes me more aware that this is the fact always - Allah is always watching. And, many of us are fortunate enough to arrange Fridays off anyway, alhamdulillah. The two Eids are not enough reason to leave my home in the West. We should be where we are happy, practicing and safe in shaa'Allah, and if that places us in a place where we can invite people to Islam, why not? Let me also add: We get actively persecuted by government in Muslim countries. For example, in Egypt prayers couldn't be held in gatherings outside, because the government feared revolution - which they eventually got. In Damascus and Cairo, young men were dragged and thrown into jail for "looking" religious or going to the dawn prayer. Religious lessons in homes were illegal when I was studying there. You can't actually practice freely there. Remember Arab Spring?

I just started covering my hair when I go out, and I love this. I’ve also noticed that most of the time, people are nice and compliment my headscarf. It’s still definitely a learning experience for me, sometimes I forget to put it on before I leave the house and or I will put it on and it starts to slide off my head and I don’t notice but I’ll get there one day. the best thing i ever did was buy a ninja undercap that covers the head and neck! it means no matter what, your awrah is always covered. you can also pin your hijab on to secure it. in general it just makes things so so much more easy and secure, you got this may Allah make it easy for you :D

Also, to answer your question, in islam wearing a hijab is an obligation, meaning we actually have to do it, but in thr name of Allah (god). However, Islam is a gentle religion that does not force you to do something out of your will, as long as you're unable to do it for some purposes (for instance living in a place where wearing a hijab might threaten your life because of being a minority). Hopefully hidayah will approach all muslimah who are still considering on wearing one. Personally, I LOVE wearing hijab. It makes me feel safe and closer to my creator. I don't mind covering the beauty of my hair and so, because I want to be a good muslimah! I hope this helps your curiosity even for a little bit, sweet one. I would love to help you again!

I don't follow any religion or God name but I have my own spiritual believes and somebody I talk to in my mind as you also probably do to Allah. Maybe we are all talking to the same. Who knows, not me:) I also don't drink because it doesn't feels good on me, so we probably have that in common too. I think hijab looks pretty, cute so I though it was also an aesthetic preference for muslim women or a protective hair covering style. I am curious too about men: should they cover their hair too?

But my country accepts and respects other religions as well as how it is taught in Islam! I think it's cute that we have a couple of things in common. You are correct, we don't drink alcohol as it is forbidden for health and social purposes. Also, we often talk to Allah as a prayer or just letting our our problems as Allah is always listening to our hearts. I really love the fact that you think hijab is cute, you made my confidence boost, thsnk you so much! And yes, hijab often represents islam women and I love wearing it as a representation of my religion! And to answer the question, no, muslim men doesn't have to wear anything to cover their heads. However they can if they want to, for instance a common hat, prayer cap, a rimless cap usually worn by men here, etcetera. They are also a symbol of the religion, plus it's a national wear in my country haha. Hope this helps, let me know if you're still curious about something!

@@narugs5179 hello 👋 just to add to the info given above, “hijab” in Islam is not a just a piece of cloth to cover the hair; it literally means a “screen” or a “barrier” and in Islam both men and women have to follow hijab rules, but they are different for each sex because men and women are different. The “hijab” that a woman must cover is her hair and body, excluding her face and hands (but includes the shape of her body which is why loose clothing is usually worn by hijabi women). The “hijab” for a man means he must cover from his navel, down to his knees. And again his clothing shouldn’t be revealing his body shape too much even if it covers this area. There are other areas of hijab such as your character and conduct but this is the basic definition. Hope that helps. It’s also interesting to note that Mary mother of Jesus (pbuh) wore a hijab and loose clothing; so Muslim women follow her more than today’s Catholics/Christians do! And Muslim men grow their beard and wear a “thobe” (long loose garment) just like Jesus (pbuh). In Spain I doubt you will find any Catholics following Jesus (pbuh) and Mary (ra) in this way which is a shame. I would highly recommend you research more into Islam. You will find peace and truth 💚

I was born Muslim but didn’t wear hijab till much later in life. I _only_ managed to finally wear it with the help of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’aala. Once I made the decision that I actually wanted to start wearing it I was still too scared to put it on. So I would make lots of dua asking The Almighty to: - help me wear the hijab - make it easy for me to wear it - make me feel confident wearing it - protect me when I’m wearing it And AlhamdulilLaah He answered my duas. May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’aala make it easy for all of us to follow His commands.

Please never give up your hijab. It's a blessing that Allah SWT blessed us with. You know after each terrorist attack that they claim Muslim did it, we get scared of racist people who attack hijabis but I remind myself that if I am going to die well i better die wearing my hijab because it's my time and not wearing isn't gonna change that. I've been wearing the Hijab since I was 11, but it basically became a habit cause my mom admitted me in a school where wearing the Hijab for Muslim girls was mandatory. It wasn't an Islamic institution by any means, even though it LEANED towards it, but I still feel grateful for how it made it easier for me to get accustomed to hijab. But yes, it was a struggle to start wearing it permenantly, but I'm grateful that Allah made it easier for me to get used to it.

Honestly it's very help my confidence wearing hijab because I wear it since I was a little kid. I'm start wearing hijab after kindergarden, my mom told me a lot of benefits wearing it. At start i'm kinda just wearing it when we are going to go somewhere and take it off when i'm still on neighberhood. But after a while i'm just want to wear it everywhere, even when my cousin came to our house. When I'm not wearing it outside, like something taken of me, or I'm loosing one part of me. And growing up, I'm not even think to change my appereance to take it off like some of my friends 😊😊

Hijab is not just about covering your head but chest as well, it is also about what you wear and how your entire look or attire should be ,wearing tight jeans with hijab is just ridiculous

Assalamu alaikum. You are right, but everyone's journey is different. I wear the abaya alhamdoulillah, but when I started wearing the hijab I also wore it if tight trousers etc. Wearing an abaya from the start would have overwhelm and disencourange me.

A good friend of mine recently got her first hijab, and we’re all so excited for her! She’s so pretty in it and most importantly, happy. you definitely can, whenever you feel comfortable! just make sure to talk to a trusted elder about this like your mom, aunt or older sister so they can guide you. You can start learning the actual purpose and importance of a hijab whenn you are older and able to understand it!!

God bless you. We are a Christian family who lived for 15-plus years in Saudi Arabia where we raised our daughters from age 5 and 6 to adulthood. They attended Saudi schools, speak fluent Arabic (better than English!), adopted Muslim dress, as did my Nigerian wife (abaya, hijab, niqab), and became fully acculturated into Saudi life, to the extent that as adults now they socialise primarily with like Arabic speakers here in Florida as western culture is pretty foreign to them. Our closest friends are Muslim and we are in all appearances a traditional Muslim family. I can see my girls converting if they marry Muslim men. Bottom line, don’t give up on hijab, it is beautiful and liberating, it frees women from having to follow societal norms that pressure you to dress immodestly. I think all Christian women would do well to emulate in dress their Muslim sisters.

To all our muslim ladies who is still trying to wear the hijab and perfecting it, never stop and give up. Always know your purpose of wearing for whom 🥰 ( Allah ). Wearing a hijab may come across some challenges. Instead of them eyeing you of “trying” to wear the hijab they will look at how you are “not doing it properly”. It’s totally fine, soon we will continue to perfect it 🥰. When you start wearing it, people may stares, make some comments, even make fun of you (yes someone did record a video of me in the bus, sadly it is our muslim sister’s). I have went through that & I know it can be painful and bothering. Ignore it and continue to perfecting the hijab for Allah. I started mid year when I was 11 because my mother made me wear it during Ramadan. I felt so safe, secure and beautiful in it tbh and decided to start wearing it full time. I'm still quite young but a full time hijabi now and the happiest I've been with my appearance since. Remember, Muslims, always read 'allahuma anta hassanta khalqi fahassin khuluqi' when looking in the mirror. It is the Dua for looking into a mirror and it makes you accept yourself and beautifies your personality. I say it from experience.
