Just to add another feature of a top 1% body I would say is to have good stamina (e.g. running 5k decently fast) though I guess it covered in the Health I think it deserves it own category due to it's obvious benefits. As being good at cardio affect all of the categories.

Definitely agree, always try to keep stamina up and ensuring a low resting heart rate to make sure your body can change between high intensity, endurance and weight training 🔥💪🚶‍♂️

Leanness definitely is key to stand out, never thought I'd be complimented on my physique as I've always been skinny. But after building muscle and getting below 12% body fat , things definitely changed 🔥😊💪

Thanks Wanhee for the great analysis. I really liked your point at the end to figure out your own strength and weaknesses. Especially that you could be strong and aesthetic but not healthy. I always thought that was one and the same, but you’re exactly right, we all need to focus on each of the factors that you mentioned to be well balanced.

Great video! How do you manage to focus on mobility, strength training and Jiu-Jitsu? I would love to do all different types of training but that would mean time that I can devote to other things is limited. Now I'm training to develop a better looking body but more importantly a healthy, capable body

Happy to say I'm doing pretty decent in all of these, but I guess the one I need most to improve on is the strength aspect. As someone training only calisthenics I find myself to be pretty weak for my size. I want to do more strength based workouts now, and work toward skills like muscle-up and so on
@wanheekim
@wanheekim Жыл бұрын
A lot of people do calisthentics without the strength training aspect. Remember bodyweight training can be used for insane strength gains ;)

Hey bro I love your videos i just wanted to ask a quick question, when you’re fasting do you refrain from drinking anything (including water) as well or is it fine to drink water at night/ in the mornings before the intermittent fasting period ends?
@wanheekim
@wanheekim Жыл бұрын
Water is completely fine! and to be honest, sometimes I have 0 calorie drinks like coke zero etc too.

What do you consider "strong" ? i'm lean aesthetic healthy and mobile but i'm really not sure if i'm really strong ? Like in relative strenght ? absolute strenght ? i can do around 25 pull up and 60 push ups in a row but is that strong ?
@HankScorpioXX

Reasonable strength standards are at a basic level: Bench Press your own bodyweight. Squat 1.5x your bodyweight. Deadlift 2x your bodyweight. 1 Rep max in each case. If you can do that, you are reasonably strong.

I think a 6th trait is neck size. A thick neck is the only body trait which makes your face more attractive; it frames the face in the same way a good haircut does
