incineroar is bad because - predictable recovery, no approach for campers (up b has too much lag and side b is way too slow to hit anyone who has average reaction speed) his smashes kill early but his smashes have sweet and sour spots which suck as a brawler - i think almost every heavy is equal to better to him- DK has decent enough onstage present and cant be camped as easily, ganon has way better kill confirms, DDD has one of the best projectiles in the game and really good recovery - bowser has such huge hit boxes its hard to not consistently hit with him - King K rool i dont think hes better than bowser or dk but he has decent enough recovery hitbox to punish those who attempt to edge guard. Incineroar has the worse approach and kill confirms out of most of the heavies - its not that hes slept on and only magister is using him - its that magister is that good with him he can get top 25 at genesis. the character needs help the recovery buff was helpful now you can edge guard with him without feeling completely vulnerable but he still doesn't have the best on stage presence or even enough on stage presence for how bad everything else is

I find ways to recover very well with Corrin, he got nerfed but his side b still kills on the edge of the Lance and his fastfall forward air into full hop dragon fang still kills at 60 percent. He is my fav.

Wii Fit Trainer is super slept on I agree. I went into Ultimate playing Mewtwo and did alright, but I could not take any games from some local names. I remembered kinda liking Wii Fit in Smash 4 and went back to her and oh man...I have not looked back. With WFT, I have started to take games from people who I never could before when I was using M2. Rant Incoming: WFT has one of the most oppressive edgeguarding games of any character and is also one of the most dangerous to try and edgeguard. I can't count how many times I have gimped someone at super low percents who got greedy and tried to chase after me offstage. She has fantastic aerial mobility for a middleweight and has respectable ground speed (not to mention an amazing crouch). Deep breathing is honestly fantastic and makes WFT speedy enough to do some rushdown and to bait out attacks. Now that WFT also has two combo throws she can make even more use of this deep breathing buff as well. So yeah. Despite Wii FIt's appearance as a zoner, she is actually really well-rounded. I do not intend to drop her any time soon.

ZSS is awesome! Ive been messing around with her in training mode for a few days and while im definitely having trouble getting something started, the footage ive seen of her looks great. She feels like shes gonna be the Captain Falcon of this game, a high tier (but not the best) hype queen that is an underdog who can clutch out a tournament if she goes in hard enough.

Pac man is underrated. He takes effort and interest to learn and has an unconventional playstyle. However, a good pacman will always place decent in tournaments similarly to olimar. Because of the playstyle and awkward matchup. Sinji got 25th at genesis as Pac-Man, Mogg beat ZD in a decent sized tourney, Middy just won nairos naifu Online tourney of 650 ppl with Pac-Man. The list goes on. There’s actually a video with tier list based on results in tournament and Pac-Man is in the top half of the roster

I main Meta Knight so as part of getting good at the character, I, of course, have been watching how the competitive players use him, those being mostly Glacey and S2H. I am not unaware of Abadango, I just haven't watched as much of his gameplay as the other two.

Mario and Sheik are highly underrated rn. They are practically the same characters with a few tweeks. Sheik might be even better than in Smash 4 with airdodges being overall worse in Ultimate, edge guarding is easier. As for Mario he’s a little worse but his Dair actually connects for the cost of Down Throw to Up tilt.

@Chase Wakelin literally all of them have amazing combos, setups, and kill confirms. The only one that does struggle to kill is Mega Man, but he has insane spacing options, ridiculously good setups, great ledge trapping, Leaf Shield to break disadvantage, and some solid confirms with Metal Blade. Wii fit is clearly underated (I would also say may be Samus But I think Samus got some broken stuff like her F Smash hitbox that just doesn't seem to have the right hitbox... like that fireball seem much larger than it actually is... IT kinda annying to me) But else her last buff was pretty good. I don't know if she top tier but a good zonner can do pretty well whit her. EDIT: tho Am not a fan of Zero suit Samus I like that her up special now actually hit enemies and don't just miss the last hit but... I just don't like how it frist hit is so small you literally pretty much can't use it safely it pretty much Luigi Up Special but whitout the option to kill at like 30%.

IMO Roy is the best FE character in Smash, although Ike is my favorite. Roy is actually the strongest playable character in terms of raw power as well as being the fastest FE character alongside Chrom. While they lack range and recovery compared to other FE characters, they still have swords with disjointed hitboxes and can still disrespectfully edgeguard you very strongly. Roy and Chrom are by far the best characters offensively. IMO Roy/Chrom>Ike>Marth>Lucina>Corrin>Robin.

@@sakutaro3musik486 In terms of raw power and overall offense, Ike is not stronger than Roy. Roy's counter is stronger than Ike's, Flare Blade kills earlier than Eruption, his smash attacks are far more efficient than Ike's, and he can do many more combos than Ike due to having both very high speed and power whereas Ike only has high power, and even then, Roy still hits slightly harder than Ike. Keep in mind that Ultimate Ike isn't Brawl Ike. His damage and knockback is worse. He's still very strong, but those nerfs are significant enough for Ike to be slightly weaker than Roy instead of being much stronger. In terms of versatility and consistency, Ike definitely stands a chance, but I still favor Roy because of his insane offensive potential, and Smash Ultimate is a game that favors aggressive characters, so in this case, Roy is technically a consistent character. While Ike is my favorite FE character and I main him, I can't stand Roy's 0 to death fair spams. I guess the same goes to Chrom since he is an echofighter of Roy, and while his disadvantage state is even worse than Roy's he can still edgeguard or disrespect you to your doom. Also, his "Aether" should still be feared despite the recent nerfs. Mess up once against any of these characters and you are dead.

It’s lucina, with roy you have to be close to the hilt of the sword to do do anything, which ruins the novelty of having a sword. Lucina does consistent damage all throughout her sword.Also his recovery being just OK compared to lucina’s being one of the best in the game, makes lucina considerably better. Technically, marth is the best because the tipper does so much damage AND it has a ton of range, but consistently hitting tippers is just not going to happen. If somehow you could land them most of the time, marth is the best sword character by far, but it really just won’t happen in practice. Also, since people are starting to realize how exploitable chroms recovery is, Chroms are being gimped everywhere, knocking him down around where Ike should be, after roy. Lucina>Marth>Roy>Chrom>Ike>Corrin.

Yeah, the all-or-nothing thinking regarding characters kinda makes sense historically─given how centered Melee is on a handful of top-tier characters─but it's annoying. MK and ZSS are two clear examples from this list that show that if a character goes from broken to fair, it gets seen as becoming unplayable.

In most fighting games I'd agree, as you just need to deal enough damage to win; but since Smash is built around getting that unrecoverable ring-out, being able to reliably chain moves to get KOs as early as possible is important, since it's often tricky to even land that first hit, and a KO at 20% is as much a KO as one at 100%, but you get hit less in the process.

Wii first is actually pretty bad. I used to main her and if the enemy knows anything about the matchup there just gonna not fight u while u have deep breathing. Also u said she’s the only character than can heal herself... first of all it’s like one percent. Second of all she is 100% not the only character that can heal themselves. Wario, Pac-Man,villager (tree can spawn berries sometimes), and that’s all I can think of but there’s most likely a lot more.

Robin just doesn't see a lot of play, very underrepped imo, as dark yoshi put it. Robin ain't a low tier for sure, and damn sure not (one of) the "worst character in the game" tl;dr Robin is underrepped, if not misrepresented entirely. With more exposure, they can definitely become a higher tier character
