You make what you want about these meals. She didn't suggest eating every meal with a budget of 1 pound. It's like she said. It's all about portion control and budgeting. Meat can be SO expensive. There's a reason most meat eaters don't have steak every night. It's quite expensive. If you don't want to like something, you'll find any reason not to like it. I personally LOVED the video. I'm not currently vegan but have been making steps to cut more animal food products out of my diet. It's lovely to see someone enjoy the vegan lifestyle and encourage others to do the same. Maddie is always so nice!

I'm trying to take a multi-vitamin, B12 and vitamin D (when I remember). so far they haven't helped. I liked your recipes by the way. They all look yummy!!

my top tips for going vegan, is start identifying which of your go-to / favourite meals that you eat at the moment, don't star meat or eggs or milk. Find recipes that have 'just a bit' of meat, or have eggs within something, and try swapping out those ingredients for tofu, tempeh, more veg., flax-seed eggs, beans.... etc.

A big help with using tomatoes in terms of flavours is nutmeg, takes away the excess acidity. And if you’re making anything with a white sauce and you feel like treating yourself, truffle oil is not that expensive if you know where to buy it, and you only need a few drops

Hey there! May i aks why you always cook your recipes in water instead of olive oil? The body can take most vitamines out of the vegetables only in combination with fat. If you would use some healthy oil in your meals you could even make them healthier and more tasty at the same time. Healthy fat acids are very important for your body and transport vitamines and flavors better.

Some plantbased doctors/authors say oil is bad for you as its just empty calories but im with you i think a little oil is beneficial.

@@spicybiscuit88 depends of the oil you use. Sunflower, colza, sesame and olive are good source of healthy fats, such as omega 3. Coconut is way too fat as a comparison, but does wonder in sugary preparations thanks to its taste. Palm is a big no-no, avoid it at all costs!

Spontanika there are a lot of oil-free vegans out there, but the avocado in one of her recipes is clearly bringing in some fat. I don’t think she needs to worry about not getting enough fat just because she didn’t cook the recipes in oil.

I currently am vegetarian but try to incorporate more vegan meals daily, but it's a little difficult still living with my parents. now watching your recipe videos a lot of the ingredients you're using are ones they typically buy anyways! super helpful!
