As someone who learned these the hard way and took years to recover, may I give a top tip to anyone who ignored their gut instinct and was let down? Go somewhere you don’t know ON YOUR OWN and find your way around. I backpacked around Croatia where I didn’t book accommodation beforehand - just turned up and TRUSTED MY INSTINCT to find a place to stay, where to walk or not walk, who to talk to or not talk to - THAT’S how to fine-tune your instinct. And about being a ‘giver’ - don’t give more than you get in return. Ever. Hope that helps someone not have their heart stamped on like mine was.

Can still so much relate to you, but I never got to the point of victimhood. Thanks god. My line was always I don’t need a man, but I want one. First heard that sentence in a Movie: „I life my live.“ actually she said I will not tell you that I can’t live without you. I can live without you. I just don’t want to. Sry for my English no nativ here.

I don’t personally view this as a gendered concept, but I get what you’re putting across. I see it as people needing people because it’s healthy to have community. And like you said, it is important to lean into intuition and see the full picture; we shouldn’t force or retain unhealthy/unnatural relationships/endeavors just to avoid being alone.

I kinda liked the message as a whole, but what does "feminine energy" has to do with any of it?? "wounded masculine energy"?? Why does feminine relate to something good and masculine to something bad?
@AlexisBii

This is exactly what I was thinking … why is it gendered? What does it have to do with womanhood? Why do we have to believe there’s only 1 way of being a woman?

Energy has nothing to do with gender. It’s a polarity. Yin=feminine Yang=masculine ❤

I spent 30 years in the military and saw a lot of women who adopted masculine power and leadership style…so unfortunate. I also in the last bit of my career noticed men trying to adapt feminine power/leadership style. Males and females are biologically different including how our brains function. Denying basic physiologic and anatomical differences is leading to confusion to the point that men and women are becoming less not more.

I feel a little concerned that we’re assigning a gender to types of mentalities and behaviors. I understand where this movement is coming from - we as a society are trying to find comfort in this crazy world in familiar gender role “truths” (stereotypes). That’s harmless on an individual level, you do you! BUT I think this is a slippery slope that could easily end in some extreme ideas about what women are and are not allowed to do or think

I so badly want to uphold the feminine energy but when I go through intense bouts of anxiety I slip into that masculine energy and truly believe that all decisions rest on my shoulders and if I make the wrong one that affects so many people and I lose who I am for that period of time. It rough out here!!

I cringe every time I hear the term "feminine energy." dating/feminine energy/etiquette coaches give me the biggest ick. please don't let your channel go in this direction!

So glad you mentioned intuition. This is so important.. it reminded me of recently when I went to an interview for an entry level admin role in health and as soon as I was driving I didn’t feel prepared. Then I walked into the area with all the people for the group interview. I instantly knew it wasn’t for me. I felt like I should have just left., but I didn’t.. I had the most awful experience at the group interview and it gave me ptsd.. it was awful. My anxiety came up and I just froze, and what was worse was that they didn’t let me leave (‘escape’ in my mind). I had to sit through it all and feel like a failure because I froze up. I left feeling so embarrassed and not good enough. There were 4 people on the board, it was so intimidating. I wish I trusted my gut as I walked in the door and saw the other candidates. They were mature, and looked dressed to be flight attendants! It wasn’t for me. For now on I trust my gut!!!

Listening to intuition, setting appropriate boundaries (to prevent over-extending yourself) & embracing the idea that we DO, in fact, need men in our lives, is so freeing & life-changing. So happy for you, that these things have happened for you in your life!

Really enjoyed this video. I think it is really detrimental how we often speak about that women can be men and men can be women, and that we don’t need each other. We complement each other, just like you say.

Not sure that going back to stereotypes is beneficial to men or women. It boxes in both.

@@Margarita.Nazarenko I really enjoy your channel. Thanks for commenting. I do feel that younger women do not have the experience with having to live with these stereotypes. I do think women should live their lives as they wish.

Hey I didn’t really read that many books I just got off the birth control pill and kind of just ‘woke up’ So many creators out there share book recs or ways to listen to your intuition more but just simply I’d start with meditation 💕

im still in my very masculine energy. its due to life/trauma. but im slowly working towards it. its hard to let go and let someone else take the lead and trust that they can. also can you share your mojito recipe? i have yet to find a good one. ps i like mine sweet.

I just usually google mojito recipe and chose the easiest one that’s first up in my search 😂 it’s not my most common drink of choice but if you like it sweet just use more sugar syrup 🤤
