This is DOPE. I accidentally tried out Clips yesterday, and damn I'm kicking myself for seeing it all this time and ignoring the heck out of it. Thanks for the great explanation

I was late on the Clips party as well. Glad you accidentally tried Clips. It’ll definitely expand the way you look at and work with Maschine.

You can also just hold Ctrl (or Cmd) for dragging when grid is set to on. So you don’t have to turn it off if you’d rather not

#TeamMaschine !! All day .. thank you (I wish I would've tried using "clips" long time ago, I struggles with patterns and scenes for EVER, it's All coming together now) Cheers ! (Subbed , liked)

Yes! #teammaschine !! Happy to hear the video helped. Thinking of Patterns to sketch my ideas, Scenes to organize my ideas and Clips to create variation to those ideas really helped me. Thanks so much for your support Klayton 🙏

Great tips on Clips! Do you use a specific piece of software for creating acapellas? If - would be great if you covered that!
@BarryDanielMusic3 жыл бұрын
Hey. Thank you 🙏 I use RX8 to isolate vocals and make acapellas (which I do have a video on) but the results may very and still don’t come close to studio quality. I mainly get acapellas off the website Acapella4U and KZbin.

I have a doubt. in the clips section there is no option to drag and drop midi and audio! How do I appear? Thanks
@BarryDanielMusic2 жыл бұрын
Hey this is a great question. If you're working on the software (computer) you'll just need to have it selected first before working with the clip. If you're working on the hardware you can press "shift + pattern" to access the clips in that group or just press pattern and use the buttons along the top to go between pattern and clip. (hope that helps)
@dionanthonymusic92793 жыл бұрын
Migos should use this version for a remix, it sounds way better than the original lol you killed it.
@BarryDanielMusic3 жыл бұрын
Haha. So random I put the acapella (and the video) in there. Thanks 🙏

The last remix part where you put the lyrics on the whole track, how would you do that in stand alone mode Maschine plus? I would like to record my voice in a long clip.

I don't have hardware. Can you make your own music using only Maschine software and materials?
@BarryDanielMusic2 жыл бұрын
Yes you can but DAW vs DAW you can’t compare it to Studio One. The biggest benefit of Maschine is the hardware.
@babymixswing22692 жыл бұрын
@@BarryDanielMusic I don't have the hardware for now. One thing I don't understand, does Maschine software have some functions that only Maschine hardware can start? If you only use the software, are there some functions that cannot be used?
@BarryDanielMusic2 жыл бұрын
That’s a really good question. I can’t definitively say yes or no as I haven’t dug in to completely learn with or with the hardware. There are somethings I do with the software such as edit midi and somethings I do with the hardware like chop samples. But that’s just my workflow and you can definitely do one or the other both ways. With the hardware being a controller of the software at the end of the day in theory you should be able to do all of the functions on the software. You’ll just need to figure it out….in theory.
