A lot of ppl. Like I grew up in the south & when I was in a group home, the house that was next door was populated by a fam that kept their big dog on a heavy chain in the front yard. Ppl had house dogs & outside dogs. And we aren’t talking about livestock guardian dogs who roam a large property with a job to do, we’re talking a big “scary” looking dog that’s kept chained up that the family wants to be mean bc they think it’s a security measure. With the confidence & bravado of teenagers we’d go visit that dog & try to make friends with him even though he growled at us constantly. We got permission to walk him & I felt like we were making progress, until we got blamed for some shenanigans happening in the neighborhood & our walking privledges were taken away. There was no one I could call for help. Rescues and rescuers like we have now is a relatively new phenomenon & there def weren’t any in a small southern town at that time. Like I couldn’t even get help for the seniors being neglected at my summer volunteer job we were required to do. Like I saw first hand evidence of severe neglect bordering on abuse, & nothing. No one cared, there was no one to tell. So at 16 my childhood belief that when ppl did bad things, someone would stop it, completely evaporated.

HUGE KUDOS TO the 5 yr old boy who kept feeding Koco every day. This little boy saved Koco's life. Of course he needed a LOT moe care than that, but thanks to the young boy, Koco got the food he needed to stay alive. Then, thank goodness you (handoverrover?) took him in and loved him back to health and happiness with your patient, compassionate care.😊❤🎉❤😊

Koko is awesome! She helped me twice with the rescue of my mother's cat after my mother passed and again when my brother passed. She rescued his dog and found a new home for his dog. I live in Texas. My mother's cat was in Arizona and with me now. My brothers dog was in Nevada and now lives in Scottsdale, Arizona. She goes above and beyond for animals. Her rescue is Handoverrover in Arizona.

Thank you to the sweet little boy for feeding this puppy when the owner wasn't willing to do it. He was very brave and kind to be a 5 year old and feeding a dog that wasn't his. ❤😊❤ Thank You to the rescue team for saving the pup and showing him Love and letting him go at his own pace. Hopefully he gets the Best Forever Family that Will Love Him Like He Should Have Been Loved From The Beginning. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
