To answer your question regarding the drinks we drink as a treat: I'm an equally tea and coffee person. like I love both so much, I couldn't live without either one of them. Coffee in the morning, tea in the evening and in the afternoon it depends on my mood, if I'm lacking energy it's either black tea or coffee and if I need something to calm me down a little bit, it's tea, mostly green tea or some kind of ginger/citrus type of tea:) Also I'm soooo glad you did another chatty/kind of sisterly talk again! I also really enjoy your vlogs from Tokyo but your little chatty videos in your apartment are my favourite kind of videos, which I never miss to watch!!💫💜 also I'm loving the pink hair, it looks amazing!!💕

As an Italian who's been living in London for 10+ years, I find it hard to talk about what is "affordable" :") For example, I found both Tokyo (visited on vacation) and Seoul (lived her for about 2 months) very affordable for being capitals, but I know that for someone from my hometown it might be hard to understand why. Like you said, it really depends a lot on our personal situation :) Always lovely to hear you chatting about life! x

It’s amazing to me how you’ve build a life for yourself in a foreign country. I think you can be really proud of yourself. I love love matcha, but I don’t really have time in the morning to make one. So I make a cup of green tea with a bit of oat milk and a spoon of honey and I love it.

As an honest opinion Mikan: I believe that you are doing very well, your language skills are very good and you can get a job, you have the drive to create your own brand and not be afraid to tell us about the journey to make it happen (ups and downs.) I cannot be a judge of you, only of myself. However I do reckon people should just butt-out with their judgements of you. We only see a narrow part of your life, and that doesn't give anyone of Us the right to judge you. You are you, and those of us who watch and like, really do appreciate you. If you're living somewhere and not just a trip, try and get situated with reading the general map of the trains. The ones they hand out/place posters of all over released by the companies. Even if you won't be using it and more just learning at first, even with Google it's a great thing to learn how to read. You can plot out trips or detours while you're traveling if anything happens. Also if you can't access Google for some reason, you'll be able to at least have some way of wayfinding.

I'm British and visited Tokyo a few weeks ago! It's definitely a lot cheaper than here especially at the moment. I was so shocked to see petrol for like 99p around Roppongi cause outside of London its around £1.80 at the moment. Also there's no way you can go out and get lunch for less than around £25 a person where I'm from so I was so shocked to be eating in Ginza etc for less than a tenner... I live in one of the worst UK cities and my rent is almost the same as some places in Shibuya-ku so I'm definitely considering moving to Japan (especially cause my company does transfers there) It was so jarring how much better the standard of living is in Japan vs the UK

Im glad you re happy. I moved from Germany to Hungary (i have dual citizenship as mymom is Hungarian) and it was so difficult at first, i didnt speak the language, i moved back in with my parents but now im so happy here. Its risky to move countries but it can be the start of a wonderful new life.
