I dont know what part of the chair you find ugly. i mean if its just the overall shape, or the colour etc. but if its about the green fabric: maybe you can try to disassemble the chair and stable a new cute fabric around the chair upholstery. takes some work but this way the chair doesnt go to waste and can choose the fabric so it might turn out pretty cute

15:00 If you want a wooden crate like that, you could go ask around in supermarkets or wine stores. I asked our local supermarket if they had any crates left and they just went to the wine cellar and got one for me. I placed a pillow in it and my dogs sleep in it. ^^ Not every store will just give them away, but you can always ask!

Go back and get the DEVIDER! ;-) You could use it to optically separate your living space and couch from the kitchen part ;-) I think it would not only look nice (given the height of the devider is hight enough to hide the kitchen part behind it), but also make your TV/Chill space so cosy, because of the material the devider is made of! AND, the colour suits the colour of the fabric of your sofa/couch) :-)

That is an awesome haul! Your new kitchen lamp looks amazing! Also wow, how awesome are the prices in Japanese thrift stores?? Here, you can find IKEA lamps for like 2€ cheaper than at IKEA (and of course they have marks and a thick sticky dust layer 🙄)... But clothing and smaller items are usually cheap, so thrifting is still fun 😊
