well, as a Chinese who worked in IT market place in a mall, I have to say this is not "fake", this is "exhibition sample" for us (mall market place sellers" to put them on the desk for size comparison). Because Macbook is so expensive, you don't really want to put a few different models there. someone might steal them when you did't pay enough attention. but with 50 dollars sample, alright, say "enjoy" to the theft

Just a heads up, you probably are going to have to write the code yourself to get their Intel modem units working without “borrowing” Qualcomm’s work because their Bridge OS daily crashes from the T2 chip have been around since iMac Pro’s late 2017 release 2 years ago, and yet they’ve released every model since with a T2 and every model crashes (loosing whatever you were working on) and they have now removed the data recovery port from the board in 2018, so you’ll also need also buy a decent back up DAS (and drives first). Personally I’d get a T1 chip 2017 when you finally get your phone working again, especially if you can get your can’t get your 15” 2012-2014 MBP to work with Mojave because they can’t get it to play nice without disabling your dedicated NVidia graphic card (which has also been something they are still working on for over a year w/o a solution) Now hold up, we aren’t done! If you still want to use the CS4, CS5 or CS6 Adobe Master Suite to even do Photoshop, make sure you don’t upgrade your 2017 passed High Sierra so you don’t have to spend $120/year for a new Photoshop license. Have I future proofed everything that needs to be said? Someone else tell me if I’m forgetting something? Don’t say “XPS” b/c Microsoft has STILL not figured out a consistent way to deliver the power of newer chips without fiddling with the BIOS on even your i5 8600K so your 6 cores don’t give you render times that take DOUBLE the time of a 2012 Retina 15” MacBook!
