But Boise State is called that because it's Idaho's state University. Also, because the the main part of Idaho and the panhandle can't agree on anything, we have to fight over the Vandals and the Broncos. We don't have any professional sports teams and Boise state is definitely the most popular and highest ranking college in Idaho. The basketball, volleyball, football, and soon baseball teams are a really big deal, I think it was a fair answer.

It used to be Giants Stadium, until it was demolished to make way for the MetLife Stadium. I can see why NY said basketball, NY is considered the Mecca of basketball. People play it on the streets with friends and neighbors. For me, I love football, hockey, and baseball the most. When people ask if I’m a Yankees or Mets fan, I say both because I’ve been to games at the new and old stadiums and I can’t pick a favorite

Hawai'i was alright since its the only "big" sports team that we have but high school football brings in more crowds (Kahuku, Saint Louis, Punahou, Mililani) but for overall people it would be paddling/surfing whether its on a canoe/board

Alaska: Basketball's popular here, lots of NBA fans, UAA vs UAF's always a great game and it's played in almost every school in the state (see Carlos Boozer and Trajan Langdon.) Our outdoor courts suck tho. Of course football's popular here, hockey somewhat. Hawaii: Football of course as there's so much talent there and many Hawaiians make it to the NFL. Also surfing's a big one.

Jon Cohen fam I’m talking amongst kids. I’m 13 and in middle/highschool aged kids hockey is probably 1 or 2 in favorite sports. Some because they play, and some because of the Capitals. I have been to so many different schools here for tours and hockey is definitely elite. I can argue all you want 😆

I live in Indiana (yea, I know - basketball...), but I like college football, too - I discovered Big Sky Conference football. Eastern Washington (the one with the RED field, embroiled in controversy over the program losing money), Montana State, Weber State, Idaho State and others in the general vicinity. So much fun to watch! Everyone goes to the games because there is nothing else to do. Unfortunately, the channel that broadcast Big Sky on my DirecTV went under this month - so I have to find it some other way. Wish me luck!

For AZ, ehh there's really not one dominant sport or team here really. The Cardinals, Suns, and Diamondbacks are all pretty equal really. The Coyotes definitely bring up the rear tho. Tho i'd honestly say Hiking should be up there as well.
