Bedankt voor deze video. Was de speling na het monteren van de lagers dan weg als je de homokineet vast pakte? Mijn a6 c7 avant 8 traps automaat heeft hier ook speling op. Maar als ik het goed zie zit deze enkel in de spline en steunt deze niet in het lager. Dus zal er altijd speling in zitten? Alvast bedankt!

Thanks🙏 Yes that will be a challenge. 😂😅 yes I checked that but nothing seems wrong with it! but we are going to try the bleu rs5 drive shaft on the red rs5 just to be sure. but I still think that it is a bad bearing from the gearbox and that the teeth rotate against each other, I think

@Rm Projects If u can get an oil sample from the diff fluid you can send it off for analysis. I do this kinda thing for my job. If you have high iron content or brass or anything like that then it could give u some data. You won't have a baseline sample but it could still give u some data.

Top ta vidéo ! J’ai le même problème sur mon A5 mais avec du jeu latéral sur l’arbre à bride 0B4409344A. Est ce que le segment arrêtoir bloque bien l’arbre à bride après remontage ou il y a un jeu d’origine ? Sur ma voiture j’ai l’impression que le segment arrêtoir ne fait plus son travail et l’arbre à bride est libre ayant pour conséquence qu’il tape dans le différentiel me causant un bruit de claquement en roulant.

Thanks for the video, very helpful. I have same play if not worse, but no noise. Insted when i came to a stop in D i feel the hit of the engaging 1st gear. Just when i stop completely. No clunk in putting in D nor in R .Do you think it can be this problem or a mech unit? No fault code stored, no error in tcu or pms

At 2:49, is it normal to have a little play when you spin it like that... Mine has... 😅 Seems like differential itself has worn bearings too, both sides... Actually more than other bearings.. 😮 If its not normal. 😢

Where and how did you find bearings. For my A6 C7 Audi only shows from the cover out, no internal parts. Did you use the numbers on the bearings and races? Thanks.

For the A6 C7 the parts numbers are different. For the gearbox side diff bearing: 0B1409123 For the driveshaft side diff bearing: 0B1409422D Also the seal part numbers are different. I ordered the same parts as I saw in this video and sadly noticed that the seals and bearing are different for the A6. Currently in the middle of this job. 2013 A6 with the 3.0 TFSI. Gearbox NSH.

Hi,where do you fill up the diff fluid?mine is like yours no plug on the diff case,also had a similar noise like a rattle and it turned out to be an engine mount when letting off or applying throttle

Hey I have a 2013 B8.5 rs5 and I seen your video on KZbin replacing the bearings on the front diff do you know if your B8 rs5 has the same trans as my car? I’m in the United States it has a 7 speed ob5 dl501. I’m looking to replace the same bearings on the front differential but my local dealership said they do not list the parts break down for the differential. Is there some type of info that you have that they do not? I’d really like to get these bearings changed as it has the same amount of slip as your video showed. Let me know!

The partnumbers are from a 0B4 manual transmission gearbox. OB5 you can only change the complete gearbox, 0B4 you can change all bearings

@reinhardrudolf2285 No problem, Parts in Total were around 300 euro’s total. Axial clearance, on the Diffrential can not be measured, on the spline shaft, its enclosed in the cover, radial clearance was a slight bit less, Nothing too crazy

It takes some abuse for the final drive bearing to fail...Long-term bend in the hub or wheel.
