52 Blocks (Jailhouse) was created and designed for closed quarter self-defense point blank! Meaning, if your in a tight space with another individual who has a weapon and wants to attack 52 can help produce the intended elbow and fist strikes one would need to disable a person. In a ring 52 would have to be mixed with other fighting techniques in order for it to be more effective on a championship fighting level.

@CSMixedMartialArts I fought the best of the best and fighters in the mainstream fight circuits are not the best . All that Karate , muay thai etc was taught by my people to other people . We taught them a weaker strain of combat this is why yall concentrate on offense . But just like constellations n nakmeezy n the rest of them , the tune changes when you are in the range of my reach . I got 52 blocks that will shut down your offense .

The 52 Blocks!!! For the ones that know about it and for the ones that have seen dudes put this particular style of fighting to work we don't need to debate whether or not it works or if its a real deal fighting style. I have seen dudes that knew jailhouse/52blocks and were really nice with their hands.

I've been in martial arts for a long time. If you are confident and at peace with yourself in your fighting journey...then you should look past any negative message and see TRUTH in any form. Why get insulted?? If there is a fighting way that teaches me to be BETTER...than I'm for it. I find that most people that get easily insulted, has no firm foundation to stand on. IMmr52......I've seen this video near 20 times already. Enough to make me subscribe to your channel. I was brought here by Lyte Burley vids. I'm little hard for cash right now however......when I get my money up I will like to take lessons from you and Mr. burley. Thank you for sharing

52 seems to be a very interesting art. I wouldn't mind learning this form. Also like some on here, i would like to see a real deal sparring session. Also i would like to see an exhibition where a 52 master like yourself goes up against other masters of there disciplines, to prove how effective it is, like Bruce Lee did to prove JKD. A lot of cats on here want to hate, so it would be nice to see some real deal stuff to shut them up.

People that don't understand 52 blocks often confuse it with wing chung...However 52 blocks is more fluid in all it's motions ... The blocks are designed to break knee caps and fists....Thank you for your observation.....

@bruceleroy98 the reason being that fully commiting to a strike with these types of blocks would lead to someone breaking there hands or worse. Plus if your facing any art that focuses on defense would you really commit yourself to an attack when there is no openning?

yall must understand that in a 4 by 4 cell yall traditional form of combat cant be administered in such small spaces...However 52 blocks is designed for that very situation and more because it carries a wide variety of offensive and defensive strikes at close quarter range. Wide range 52 is designed not only to display 52s remarkable foot work but also it displays beautiful, graceful YET deadly tactics..52 blocks

@SiMo666suzukiRider U did not out think me cause u think u can penetrate my defense . U have the same thing all the rest got , Offense ! Dont u understand english ? I said I will block ANY attack in every aspect of the word . And how many blocks u really think I will use before I unleash my offense ? Also , please dont confuse confidence with arrogance cause many people do . I'm confident that I will time any attack n counter that same attack swiftly u wont even know what hit u .
@IMmr52
@IMmr52 14 жыл бұрын
@SiMo666suzukiRider Jost like u haveconfidence in your kicks I have confidence in my blocks . The difference between me n u is I'm not into getting hit . You would try to kick and my blocks will break your legs . Life n death situations is a piece of cake to me , yet u talk about savagery . I did 20 years in prison , I can tell u all about savagery ! So I would shut your simple low kick down with a " Simple block " , but u will have a doctor bill for that broken leg .

Every system besides 52 blocks has flaws because 52 concentrates on the defense 1st and then an immediate counter attack. In the art of defense we plan for all different kinds of scenerios , punches , kicks , clenches and etc.. If the opponent go in for the clinch he will catch all kinds of rapid attack to his chin to his ankles...If he cant block my attacks but I'm blocking his what do you think gonna happen ? I dont rely on one punch but if various pressure points are exposed he will get touch

There is some value in the 52 blocks. And I'm not trying to talk shit or anything.... But it's hard to hit someone in the head when their constantly changing their directions and open target like that. Though I don't think I like the head guy's attitude about the take down defense, you can elbow to the head in MMA from my understanding, and people get taken down all the time in UFC. Combine some of those 52 blocks with some more stuff and it'll help your fighting. It is boxing defense...

You will be a bigger punk than when you first reached 4 your gun 4 a simple fist fight ..

I almost wish MMA was never released now everybody suddenly thinks they are a martial arts expert because they've seen silva, GSP or whoever else fight. They don't fight a streetfight either. Even MMA has rules and when your in a streetfight there are none and it's a totally different scenario. Not to mention MMA is exactly what it says it is. A ripoff and mesh of other martial arts that have existed for hundreds of years.

Honestly u cant judge any art by one or several videos. U have 2 get in the trenches and get knocked around by it 2 make an honest opinion. Even an mma match, its easy 2 sit and say "I wouldve done this or that' or 'this wouldnt happen if...' just by watching it, but when youre in the ring, it's totally different mindset; trust, Ive been there. Like Mike Tyson said, 'everybody has a plan until they get hit' LMAO

After the fall of the Aztec Empire under Hernan Cortez, Pedro de Alvarado was sent by Cortez to conquer the native city states further south. On June 6, 1524 Pedro de Alvarado crossed the Paz river with a few hundred soldiers and subdued the Cacique of Izalco (the first major city state on route to Cuzcatlan). Fierce battles were fought in defense of Izalco in Acaxual (today Acajutla in the Spanish version) and Tacuzcalco!

And I am using this quote "Although it might seem a reasonable deduction, it is by far not the only possible scenario created by the evidence at hand. Consider the following: Horses originated in the Americas. They eventually migrated to Eurasia, making their way all the way into Africa. They died out in the New World, however, and the American Indians were quickly overrun by mounted soldiers, riding an animal that finally made it home. They have never seen horses in their lives,....

52 Blocks isn't the only martial arts for the people's war,you have Mandinka Kilijawaaro, Laamb, Beni Hassan, Danmye(Ag'ya) Escrima Arnis Pencak Silat, Mani, Pinge, Bois "sticklick", Brama, Yuna Onse, Knocking and Kickin...just to name a few...A fight inwhich two men distroy each other isn't a real fight...in combat it's more than one oponent...hence bussiness must be taken care of effectivly and swifly...

One of the things about Afrikan martial arts then and now is that Afrikan martial arts prior to enslavement and capture our martial arts reflect our free and open nature, in captivity certian techniques turned tight in structure but provided the same universal function...it being a martial art(martial war, complete system) vs martial sports(style or fraction of battle)

@7The7Green7 I doubt 52 has any origins in the Nile valley. If it does have African origins it would be from the countries of coastal west and central Africa. That's where the slaves came from,not east Africa. This is why capoeira can be traced to Angola.

Peace to the gods, It's good to see Father Allah's system alive today. People don't know the full history of this art that I learned in 91-92. Don't worry, I teach a Southern version and will soon post a vid on its deadly offense applications as well. 52 Hand blocks is NOT a joke. @SiMo666suzukiRider I'm definitely not primitive in my way of thinking . 85 % of combat is mental . I already out thought u cause u think that u can penetrate my defense . All I'm saying is please dont get it twisted , my offense is just as swift as my defense .And on these vids I'm only displaying 1% . They made a movie about me ,or atleast about some of my blockis , un disputed 3 . But my style is real .

Never trained in 52 blocks but from what I see they have great techniques though I might some of it seems over stylized. Great defensive blocks, hands high using elbows to block, guard and counter. Do 52's use finger strikes to eyes, open hands to ears and elbows? Also, do you prefer to stand toe-to-toe, trapping range etc? Is this primarily a striking style with fists? Any ground work or defense? I'm curious to learn more 52's principles! Keep up the good work!

learning a few things thats the kind of open minded martial artists he is. Why Sensei Richard Garcia is comfortable enough to do what he did in the clip, not fight using his style, cause I know he'll gladly lay hands on a cat if he had to real time, being the martial art he practice and teach at his school are all about combat and he train a few students that won in under ground mma bouts

52B was not developed for the ring, but for street survival. Everybody should already know this fact. Therefore, the dumb ass comments that 52 blocks won't work in ring shouldn't even be made. j31485 , form the looks of it it really does look like I"m open but YOUR LEGS WOULD GET SHATTERED OR BROKEN IF YOU TRIED TO KICK ME.. A double leg take down can easily be countered simply for the fact that the "shooter" must commit himself at which time he's gonna catch all type of "Trauma" to hisself . And for the sake of argument I traim my students to "fight on their back" and it's all about position...I do that for the "just in case" scenerio". I'm highly skilled in this art...

I can see that EVERYBODY IS STUDYING MY VIDS AND TRYING TO BITE MY STYLE. Combat without CULTURE is nothing but a barbaric blood fest..Defense without SCIENCE is an automatic mis-calculation just look what happened 2 Rashaad Evans...Had he been taught and trained the REAL SCIENCE he would still be on top of his game.

blacktaoist, seanyv and anyone else are entitled 2 their own opinions. A lot of people who are viewing these clips tend 2 see from the out-side in with no knowledge of martial arts. I left my page open 2 all comments un-like other people who controls the comments...In this clip this is about learning......NOT ABOUT FIGHTING...

And I train for life/death situations.....You talking like I was doubting his abilities...If you want 2 investigate me then you gonna have 2 go 2 the streets of n.y all 5 boroughs and beyond and you are gonna have 2 go behind the wall where I spent 20 years of my life......

You are entitled 2 your own opinion but what's ridiculous 2 you is not ridiculous to others . Those "twats " are right there in the uk with you , all you have to do is look between your legs and you will see all the twats you need to see . Thanks for commenting !

You , like the average person would rather stand still while your hands is at your side and allow your opponents 2 smash your face in and crack your ribs and you call it "Taking a punch " . I rather "swat" you like a mosquito & KO you than just stand there...52 blocks...

White peole still dont have the KNOWLEDGE 2 build pyramids..They loot the pyramids to attempt to cover up the blackpeoples true identity..Black people were in america before the natives. Just like christopher columbus discovered blacks over here not (discover) america.
