Another slammer of a video! Coincidentally, just yesterday in fact, I checked these units out on the Lectric website. I think they are currently located in the Phoenix area. The saddlebags are a $50.00 accessory & probably well worth it! The company story behind these eBikes is interesting for sure. The young inventors were into skateboards earlier on... I’ve had an electric bike for years, and they are guaranteed to put a smile on a face! Mine was designed & produced by Lee Iacocca back in the 90’s. Of course the bikes you’re riding are much better due to better technology, better batteries, and the fact they are a foldable just adds another dimension. Thank you for covering them! I would like to add that the way you were surprised at how much fun they are & the different ways you’ve already found use for them is how we all will be in the next ten years with all electric vehicles...cars, trucks, motorcycles, etc., etc.

Being 77 and with neuropathy in my legs this could be an answer to getting to my hunting stands and back. Getting out in the woods in general would be a big benefit too. Getting around the yard and local community is not a problem as I use an old garden tractor for that but things like getting to a deer stand or checking game cameras without spooking every animal in the county would be great. Do they come with training wheels.

We test rode some electric bikes in Blue Jay NC a few years ago and loved them in the steep streets but the price was probably double these Lectric bikes. Loved your review so much I just ordered 2. Thank You and Thanks to Levi for being persistent.

I was very impressed with this bike after watching this video and a few others. I ordered one in June. Well July is almost over and the bike hasn't even been shipped out yet. I called the company and they told me that the bike was at Fed-Ex and blamed them for the delay. I contacted Fed-Ex and they informed me that they don't have the bike. The shipper still has it, so I called the Lectric company again and they confessed that Fed-Ex did not have the bike but only a shipping label. The bikes are made over seas (China) and they should be sending them out soon. I was very disappointed to learn that this bike was NOT made in the USA. :(

Jason, on Hollis Farms has two of these, and he uses them to sneak out on his farm to hunt. So quiet, you can go to your blind or stand without spooking your game. I believe he has 2 different sizes. Pretty sweet.

I'm a bike nut and I've got a couple that go a bit faster than this one. Sound better too. I'm also a sailing nut and my immediate thought was of all the cruising yachts out there sailing around the world, walking to the nearest shops or hiring cars to have a look around because they don't have transport. A few have standard pedal bikes that fold up but I think this bike might be a lot more popular with most sailors who are getting on in years. There's a you tube sailing channel Sailing La Vagabond with over a million subscribers in the Caribbean right now. Just a thought.

my girlfriend and i bought electric bikes 2yrs ago. we originaly bought regular bikes but due to health i had to stop every 5min. to catch my breath(i have COPD) so i bought my e- bike first . next problem she couldnt keep up with me so she bought a e- bike. our first ride was 26mi. it took 20min.s. we are both 59yrs old . i have had 2 heart attacks , cogestive heart failure , 5 stints. the E' bike is the answer to me getting outside and having fun. yes they are expensive. but its like a motorcycle except you get exercise. and when you run out of air or get to tired to pedal you can stop and just ride until your ready to pedal again. absolutely worth every penny for elderly people with health complications .our bikes will do 30mph and alittle faster if you want to pedal harder. your bikes are considered fat bikes because of the tires .love them so cool. your going to enjoy them.i highly recommend E - bikes .they even make 3 wheelers.

I noticed your electric bikes and saw all the features. I am a mfg rep for another brand of bike that I feel is far superior to the ones you have. The bike I have is a full camouflage model. We are working on a new carbon fibre type frame that still has elasticity when riding. Some great things our bike has is an arrangement of seats for different types of sufaces you are riding on. We have large disc brakes on both front and rear. We have a larger battery that is highly balanced with the bike to produce speeds of 35+mph. Our bikes also come with a computer with an HDMI outlet and room to install cell phone brackets or GPS if you are riding in the country. This by far is one of the best and SAFEST bikes I have ever owned.

Please friends I strongly suggest you Always wear your Helmets!! The example of the habit would help others avoid injuries. Unfortunately, some people will use the time you do not wear your helmets to support not wearing theirs when necessary.. I know it is the Morgans habit to wear safety gear generally. Please extend this habit to the Bikes on video. I know covering that beautiful hair is a sacrifice, but you are excellent examples in other things. It would be a shame to miss a chance which could be important, down the road. God bless and keep you all.

Folks, at @4:25 you refer to a "video last night", from which you show a brief segment "if we didn't see it". But I watched the one video from yesterday and don't see indication of use of the bike there. Maybe you mean it's one you are still editing and have yet to post. But the reason I am asking is not to nit-pick. :-) Rather, it's that I am looking for more on use of the e-bike in the pedal assist mode, such as we might use on trails or in fields on farms. Most of the video snippets you showed in this one were either on flat ground or folks using the full assist mode to go up hills. I'm interested in how well these would allow for one to ride their hilly property (or neighborhood or parks) and still get some exercise, but benefiting from that pedal assist when really needed. Thanks for it, of course.

@@levimorgan18 Ah, ok. Just caught it. Thanks. Wow, that was hilarious (bustin' you-know-who's chops). :-) That said, I see now that Mike was on full-assist on the e-bike the whole time. I do hope you guys may consider doing a video showing using it on hill trails with pedal assist. Not all of us will run 6 miles like Melissa, and want some additional cardio. But we may find that biking is too hard with the grade of our hills. Am hoping this bike may offer a nice middle ground. Sadly, I just say they have an "all sales final" policy, with no returns allowed if the bike is used, so someone with my concern really needs to see it in use by others. And seeing it used by someone about Mike's age, size, and uh, we'll say body type, would be especially helpful. :-)

Very cool! Now all you need to do is put a bike rack on the extra receiver on the big tool rack. If you forget something or need to make a quick run back to the house when nature calls you can jump on the bike.

Good bikes. I received mine in July. I run my dog with the bike. There are a few tweaks you can make to achieve a higher speed. I love this thing. Total fun. The guys nearly hit a home run with this bike. Get a suspension seat post for the trails. They are a lot of fun. Enjoy be safe.

Wow, great review. I have been looking at different e-bikes and the prices were out of my range for having an e-bike. Where I am they are going for $2000 to 10,000. Everything I use here (Honda XR-350, Yamaha side by, etc.) has a loud engine and the e-bike would be something a little more peaceful. Don't get me wrong, I also enjoy crashing thru the trees at night with the side-by as well. The price here is incredible and will be ordering one. Thanks for the video.

Yes, hunter's can use them to get to there hunting site. However if it is posted as no motorized vehicles beyond a certain point you have to park it. I tried all angles with DNR to let me use it because I am disabled but they wouldn't budge. It is a shame because it would cause the least amount of damage to forestry lands compared all the other off road options!!

I have a electric bike and agree they are alot of fun. I also like to cut fire wood , hunt , shoot guns and many of the same kind of things your family does. I have alot of hobbies and always looking for another one .Make videos on what ever your interested in. I like watching the sawmill but your channel doesn't have to be just about wood cutting . I also have a mini excavator that I use to help with the firewood and like the videos when you were using your rental machine doing trail repair . Keep the videos coming .

Interesting video and great review of the e bike. I've ridden bikes competitively my entire life and at 61 ride 400km a week and always scoffed at e-bikes. After my wife's second ankle reconstruction from running injuries we bought her an e-bike and she loves it, she rides it on the property and on bike tracks around the town. I've changed my mind about them now. We have bike roof racks on our car and ute to transport them but I do like your bikes ability to fold in half, makes it very easy to take anywhere.

the fold in half is good to transport it in say the back of Hannahs subaru, but we transported them in the truck without folding them. I also think the folding is helpful in a small living space.

Every RV has its own storage capacity for toys. The Leisure Van WONDER has a great through garage. The Coachmen Cross Trek has an even bigger space for storing about four or more of these folding bikes. For seniors with balance problems, they can no longer ride bikes of any kind. Not to worry though because folding RECUMBENT TADPOLE TRIKES are the super welcome SOLUTION. I just got a Greenspeed Magnum XL trike that will hold a rider up to 475 lbs. Check out the HP Velotechnik Scorpion FS or higher sitting Scorpion PLUS. Also the ICE Adventure, the Catrike Dumont and the other folding Catrike models. These trikes can also be equipped with pedal assist electric motors. The people there at Lectric Bike equip all manner of bikes and trikes with electric motors. The AZUB Ti - Fly is fantastic too. Check them all out on KZbin and discover a way to include most all of the seniors when you all go bike riding.
