We call this Texas Trash and it is great for road trip food too! I also make a sweet mix that has M&M's in it and coated in white chocolate. I call it White Trash! Merry Christmas!

We love Chex mix. My family and I make a spicy one very similar to yours (but we add pumpernickel chips and spicy cheez-its, swap the pecans for peanuts ), a sweet and salty mix and one called “muddy buddy mix” with peanut butter and chocolate with powdered sugar! I love watching your recipes ❤

it’s just not the same without the pumpernickel chips! And hmmm….spicy cheezits? Guess I’ve never seen those, I’ll have to look for them (I get the extra cheesy ones, my eyes find those and don’t rove any farther. Lol). I call mine Texas thrash also. About the ingredients as yours but I cut the amount of butter . I actually cook bacon and I use the bacon grease to mix with the butter and spices. Tit is different but really tasty and good. Try it sometimes on your family

Yours has just a little different twist especially with the smoked paprika I think they would enjoy that the hot comes and goes different kinds of hot sauce and the spices. We've never had the smoked paprika in our house so that'll be something new and different for us to try

Open the back door, I am out here with my bowl, fill it up please. You know I bet a sweet and spicy mix would be good, you may have hit on something. When I send the cookies I will send you some of the pepper flakes I use, chipotle chili flakes, you get a nice smoky heat, I buy it buy the pound. I thought I saw my bottle of Worcestershire in the corner and said yah, she's going to use my home made W sauce. So happy you love the W sauce, and I always lick the spoon, such a difference, did you notice a difference in the chex mix. That looks so good, my Mom is the chex queen, but I guess I am going to have to make some of that. I made the best Vanilla cake today, a reverse creaming method, weird way to put a cake together but it totally works, shocked me, I hate taking a piece of a cake when you have company coming but if it was a fail I needed an alternative, could just fill that spot with frosting or cut off the whole long strip and eat it. Thanks Gay now I am dying for chex mix, or another piece of cake.
