Could a broken pick up tube cause fuel pressure to drop when you slow down to an idle while driving and not build pressure until after you start driving again? I am guessing it could if you suck up some trash in the fuel lines. Also your videos are awesome and very informative. They have helped point me in the right direction on diagnosing issues with my 06 on more than one occcasion.

This is got to be an issue I have. As soon as the low fuel indicator light comes on i know i better not to get caught on a down hill stop light or the rough idle could start.

Can you do a video on fixing the emergency brake on a 2000 f350. Min hasn’t held for 15 yrs. I’ve had it worked on a dozen times. Works for a bit then won’t hold the truck at all. Thanks buddy

The factory emergency brakes are worthless. You can't put enough pressure on them to hold the truck safely. The only way to make a Emergency brake system is to install a Micro Lock in the brake line that blocks the brake fluid from releasing.

I was looking at maybe buying06 or 07 f 350 6.0 diesel dump truck with 2 plows my uncle patched the fuel tank he put the tank back in and now it won't run I have a chance to buy it for $2500 he also replaced the fuel pump and still wont start not sure if i should buy it he said it ran great now wont start he also fiberglassed the tank he never changed the sending unit so maybe something got clogged

What kind of an idiot would send their truck to a mechanic with the fuel gauge on E wondering why it runs like ass. When my pickup screen broke apart it would run out of fuel at 1/4 tank.

Tank was around 1/4, where the tow truck dropped it was on a slight incline so the gauge was showing near E. It was just the typical 1/4 tank issue that the customer didn’t know was a common issue with these.

@@AutomedicGarage Ahh, I thought it was on dead E. Yea, when mine quit at 1/4 tank it threw me off until I didn’t see any smoke when cranking. No smoke, no fuel.
