Been using the magnetic net for a long time, yes it is very helpful. Also have been using cast iron kadhai, tawa, skillet, etc for a lot of thing- so my 2 cents here are: when you cook something in this vessel, empty it out in another vessel (i do it in my glass bowls.)

@@Spirit365 we have both: a sliding net door, and a magnetic one. One big benefit of magnetic one is that no one can leave it open as it closes on its own... Whereas with the sliding door, a lot of people don't bother to pull it back to shut it. (P.S. everyone calls Vivek my brother at my place. lol. Leh aa gayi tere bhai ki video, dekh le.)

I have been using since 40 yrs simple iron kdhai tawa tadaka spoon which r at low price . Now also it’s available here in Pune. Phulaka tawa just 200 rs with handle. Now cast iron since 40 yrs using for dosa only and Kolhapur morter n pestle of cast iron. Bidacha tava we say here in Maharashtra which is traditionally used in Maharashtra n Karnataka area. Didn’t know the word cast iron. No vegetables we do in cast iron as hard to maintain. Now in dishwasher I put all my iron tawas kadhais etc in India / UK n USA My age is 66
