If you experience hair loss (as I do too), not washing your hair for entire week or more is simply not feasible because those nice oils also make your hair clump up and expose your scalp... buuuuuut. There is dry shampoo which works great and it doesn't strip your scalp and hair of all oils like normal shampoo, just enough to make your hair not clump up and look greasy. And try using hair powder instead of paste or gels for styling (it works just like dry shampoo but particles are much smaller and they do not absorb as much oil but they hold them sometimes better than styling paste). I currently wash my hair on day one and use powder for styling, it lasts through day 2. On day 3 I wash out powder with just water (no shampoo) then blow dry and if they look greasy I use dry shampoo and powder and it lasts till day 5 when I wash my hair with normal shampoo again. Btw I also use minoxidil every evening so it is this crap + my natural oils and it works. It might not work for you but it is extremely cheap to try it (less than 15€ for both dry shampoo and hair powder) :)

Brett, your hair looks amazing, the truth is that I'm a little afraid of not washing it so often, since my hair is somewhat oily. I am also on finasteride and Minoxidil. What is your dose of finasteride? 1 mg daily?

Brett, is it okay if I wash my hair every evening with water? I have to use every morning a volume spray and a bit of wax to have even a slight chance for my hair to have an acceptable look and stance. If I leave these on it just gets greasy the next day.

Shower, exercise, wear clothes that fit you and keep your posture in check, PLEASE brush your teeth etc. cut your fingernails when they get long (if dirt starts building up they are too long) I can guarantee you half of the population doesn’t do these things so it’s a great start!

Check out the first and only cosmetics line created BY men exclusively FOR men. Stryx. Basically "men's makeup". But not just the same women's makeup, just marketed to men. Nah! You ain't gonna find no f'n lipstick and blush and eyeshadow etc, nor or you gonna be lookin like a drag queen (Not that there's anything wrong with drag queens, shout out to drag queens. But drag queens WANT to wear women's makeup bc they're dressing as close as possible TO a WOMAN)). Stryx is just for dudes who wanna LOOK like a man, look like THEMSELVES, only MORE HANDSOME! And yo lemme just say that I ain't an influencer, and I'm not getting anything out of this for myself personally. This ain't an ad. This ain't sponsored by Stryx if there's even such thing as a comment being sponsored. Bc if there IS, hey Stryx, holla🤙🏽lol) I actually have been rockin w/ them for a few yrs now. They have an eye roller tool for under eye bags/dark circles/lines/wrinkles. For pimples, scars, blemishes, etc, there's this concealer stick that looks like a cool looking pen, can carry in jacket pocket or backpack, and it covers ups any unsightly marks on your face, totally blending in w/ your natural skin color. Tinted moisturizer evens everything out. Anti-shine tool prevents afternoon shine and that greasy face look. The brow & beard gel comb tames unruly facial hair and keeps eyebrows looking perfect. Gel cleanser removes any cosmetics while keeping your face clean and healthy. Truth is, men's skin is different than women's. Ours is thicker and rougher, which is why these products were created specifically for men's skin and men's needs. But the packaging does look pretty dope I agl! Everything all black, sleek, masculine, upscale. It actually looks cool sitting on your bathroom counter or carried in your travel bags. Again, I ain't getting a damn thing for writing this. I'm sure Stryx won't even know about this. And I probably WOULDN'T have written about them, but I saw others comments here, and I was like, "Wait! YO!!! They actually DO have something EXACTLY like that!" The only thing I have to gain from this is the good feeling of knowing that I'm putting other dudes on game to level up THEIR game. Women have been enjoying having the advantage of maximizing their attractiveness with makeup for years. I just think it's about time we even the playing field, that's all

It's the use of shampoo that makes hair greasy. Your hair produces natural needed oils and shampoo strips it out. So your hair/body knows this and over produces to compensate. Go a few weeks with just water and some apple cider vinegar and your hair will love you for it.
