It is amazing to watch you do the last postion. I cannot do it. But I practice the basic squat during the time you are showing this position. It is something that i hope to be strong enough to do some day!

Thank you so much Shifu for your generosity. I have metal knees (I am 78 ) and cannot squat but have been trying pubu standing, bending supporting leg, stretching other leg and using my mind to do the rest. Combining arms and intention is improving. I am stronger already since day one and will continue this practice daily now.

I have all the recorded sessions on my iPad and do the warm up every morning now. Remembering the two mistakes.. Not starting and not going all the way! I have started and so must continue.

Am 78 years just underwent a light stroke, am learning from beloved Shifu to enhance chi, in the hope releasing me from medicine dependance. Let the chi do the recovery. Know it is hard to do but have to go through it!.

Today Today was the day to watch the training on the way to work. The desire to do the exercises was enormous. Again the ending in which "Mobu", "Gong Bu" and "Pu Bu" was trained was phenomenal. The lightness that Shifu performs is brilliant. In Traditional Karate-do we have very similar positions, of course because they came from China. The circle is taking shape in my life. After 34 years of practice and teaching, new paths open up and demonstrate that Martial Art has no end and that the path is revealed when we least expect it. Looking forward to going to the Shaolin Temple Europe. Thank you Shifu Shi Heng Yi. Today I'm going to teach students some new ways. Thank you from the heart. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

After following the videos for 2-3 months, I feel like there are so many realizations despite watching the same videos, following the same physical movements and listening to the same words over and over. These Shaolin practices have.. dare I say.. help me change some of my outlooks in life. Also, never have I ever paid attention to my knee caps this much in my life compared to 2021.

Grateful for your teaching day 5 of working out to your videos, I have seeing tremendous changes in my joints, my posture. I would like to thank you Sifu Shi Heng YI for this training regime you have created! Today it got me out of a lot of psychological trouble today. I have been practising these morning sessions for ages now and have become very good at it, but today I wasn't completely up to the task for various life changing moments and therefore I wasnt in the best of places mentally today but with my many previous years of martial arts experience, self determination, perseverance and lust for life along with your daily training got me out of the darkness of my mind, and back in the game today. Just when my mind was ready to give up, my inner being never gave up and pushed through and now i feel like myself again. Thank you once again. I hope to come to Germany soon and live and stay and train with you in your monastery someday soon!

Hi again. I enjoyed this practice very much, and I think it can be a solution to my problems with joint pain, helping me use and strengthen my joints, in a very controlled way, without increasing pain. By using the joints and strengthening the muscles that support them, in the right way, my pain will eventually go away. I have experienced that, when clenching and stretching my fists and fingers enough. And, with healthier eating and nutrition (less sugar/toxins), I no longer have pain in my fingers and seldom in my wrists and elbows. My shoulders feel better, after these movements. I think they will become pain free, without medicine or surgery, after doing this over time and gradually getting more strength, balance and flexibility. I like your mental motivation: Better being prepared for war, without war, than being in war, without being prepared for it. We never know when this will save us. I know it removes pain and is good for the brain. I'd like to give some constructive feedback, so we in the west can benefit from this, without harming our knees or feet. I think it is very good that the exercises are so slow, and focusing on the feet, knee and back posture, and on control, balance and breath. Integrating the breath, can make it a healthy meditation, also, and helps us stress down, relax and focus on both the body, the movements, the balance and the breath. This may seem a bit strange or complicated, at first, because many people are not used to these postures and movements. Like you said, doing this regularly, as part of the habits in our everyday routine, will help. If we do that, it is very important that we do it right, standing with a straight back, when possible, and standing steadily on our feet and heels, with the feet pointing in the same direction as the knees, and not letting the knees fall inwards, as you showed us. Some people are big and heavy, and many are not used to putting so much weight on one knee and one foot. Therefore, to avoid joint damage (or too much stress/wrong stress on the joints), I think it is very important - in the beginning, - to relieve the knee and the joints in the foot, by supporting ourselves with the arms, on something or on the floor or a mat, and only very gradually put more of the bodyweight on one knee and one foot, when moving up/down & from side, to side.

Thanks a lot shifu, I'm a woodworker suffering from tensioned frontwards arm, and frozen right leg, your exercise brought it back home. Even the neck and back are straight as a ruler... amazing.

I am so grateful for you Shifu for sharing these movements with us. I an 63 with bad hip joints and tight psoas muscles...I find this very helpful for opening up my hip joints and helping to stretch the psoas...I'm finding it very difficult to do the pubu, but I will continue to practice it every day...blessings to you Shi Heng Yi 🙏

I am living in Fuerteventura on the Canadian islands, I normally don't like sport, but I love this exercises, what give me a lot of energy, strength, flexibility and stronger muscles. The best training I ever had. It looks so easy, and in the beginning it's so hard, but wonderfull in the effect. Blessings to you to share your knowledge with the world, to help people. Thank you for making these sessions. While it was not possible for me to join live because of work I can now practice in my own time. You said maybe in this way it can take a long time to get better in stances but it is also more important to not give up and find a way to integrate practices in daily working life.
