Thanks for tuning in, I hope all of you enjoy this video. I'd like to quickly reiterate a couple things discussed in this video and also add a few other foods to the list. (You can find a list of those foods below as well as references). First of all you should never be afraid of eating any food in moderation. Your estrogen levels won't skyrocket just from eating 1 can of beans, 1 slice of bread, or from drinking just 1 beer. However, if your main source of protein is beans or you constantly go through 6 packs of beer then you're not doing your hormones any favors. Even in our vegetarian and vegan diet plans we list beans as a source of carbohydrates (as they do have much more carbs then protein) and we recommend other options for protein. But again the point is you can have any of these foods occasionally without overdoing it. Here's a list of some other foods that I didn't get a chance to mention in this video: 1. PROCESSED MEAT - Like refined sugar this is something you should do your best to eliminate from your diet. Not only is processed meat bad for your hormones, but it's also very unhealthy for you in general. You can find more information about how processed meat increases estrogen levels in this study here: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/29571606 2. CONVENTIONAL DAIRY PRODUCTS - The cows that go through conventional factory farming are injected with hormones and fed a horrible diet that makes them sick and unhealthy. All of this is passed on to you when you drink the milk or eat the meat. Try to go for dairy products that come from grass fed cows. Here is a review of a number of studies that explains this: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4524299/ 3. CONVENTIONAL FACTORY FARMED MEAT - This is bad for your hormones for the same reason as the dairy products discussed above. Try to go for pasture raised, free range, and grass fed. Don't be fooled by an "organic" label as it doesn't mean much. Again thanks for tuning in!

I wanted to thank you. Last year my dad passed but since he got sick I felt into depression, I’ve gained so much weight that I couldn’t even put socks on my feet or tight my shoes it really hurt. Until 5 months ago I said enough is enough. I was 265 pounds no muscles just pure fat. I’m 5’11”. Following your videos everyday for education, information and most of all motivation, I lost 45 pounds in 5 weeks and after few months I’m able to keep the weight off. I’m going to the gym 6 days a week and now I have muscles as well. My body truly transformed. I’ve been wanted to thank you for a while now. You really helped me so much.

Here is the summary of the foods to avoid if you are in a rush; 1. Most soy based products. Soy protein isolate is okay. 2. Wheat and grain based products. 3. Processed carbs and refined sugars. 4. Beer. You could go for HOPS free beer. 5. Beans. Have high levels of phytoestrogens. 6. Bottled water. The BPA in the plastic bottle that leaks into the water is the problem. You can go for a stainless steel or glass bottles.

That's why it's important to know who funded any particular study. I wouldn't follow USDA recommendations on nutrition anymore. Rampant, unregulated, dog eat dog Capitalism has corrupted everything in the US. That's why Europe has very different food and drug regulations than the US. Their regulations are based on legitimate science. You can take recommendations from the WHO (World Health Organization) as being based on legitimate science as well. They do NOT accept funding for studies from anyone with an ax to grind.

Very hard to eat completely healthy these days. I felt strong and masculine eating a combination of Almonds, beef, chicken, Oats, brown rice, Whey, Greek Yogurt, moderate amounts of vegetables. Dark chocolate and occasionally peanuts. I have struggled with digestive problems for years and a Paleo Diet seemed to really help. However I now do a few hours of study/day on top of my full time job and the lower carb intake of Paleo just wasn't cutting it for brain function for me and so I gradually moved to the diet above. A few months later I met a Functional Medicine practitioner and I decided to work with her to completely heal my gut. Through stool, urine and blood testing it was determined that I had intolerances to most of the foods I listed above. As part of the protocol I had to eliminate most of these foods with the exception of the meats and veggies. For starches I could eat sweet potatoes, pumpkin, squash and beans. I can attest that my libido took a serious dive. I was also hungry constantly and felt like my life revolved around eating.

That doesn’t mean there aren’t down sides to eating beans. I’m a 66 year old commercial diver and I consume 1Teaspoon of pure salt and a half teaspoon of salt with trace minerals every day. I have no HBP, no deficiencies in trace minerals, no health issues and it would be virtually impossible to have heart failure. The down side is; any cancer cells anywhere in my body are also benefitting by a sodium enriched plasma. The up side is; hopefully my endocrine system detects the invasive, non functioning cells and isolates it and kills it. It requires a rich sodium environment to facilitate cellular communication via electro stimulus response and reaction. A very high sodium saturation level also increases cognitive function and memory retention; it also increases all neuron activity throughout the entire body. After all; we are no less than a walking reef of life.

I disagree with beans. According to livestrong ‘s article “What foods boost testosterone” by Joshua Mccarron, beans are one of the foods that helps increase testosterone due to the protein and zinc nutrition found in beans such as kidney, black, pinto, chickpeas, and lentils.

live strong doesn't see the big picture always. Claiming that it increases test because of zinc and mag seems like a weak correlation. Those minerals can be had from many sources. They don't consider the other effects of beans that could sabatoge the efforts of the zinc.

Great video! I quit all of those last year, and combine it with gym training; I am losing 1 pound of fat per week! I am now at 161pounds, started at 185. I am 5”7” 37 years old. Basically I eat meat, veggies, rice, and 2-3 fruits everyday, averaging 2300 cal per day. And I also do intermittent fasting 16-8 (no “breakfast”)

Theres actually no studies that corroborate his claim of soy increasing estrogen in our bodies. The plant based estrogen has shown no effect of estrogen increase in men.

There are reports that there are other chemicals released by plastic into water. Just because we dont test for them yet doesnt mean it doesnt exist so why chance it. I use a all stainless steel bottle and save loads of money in the process.

The number in triangle is CRUCIAL. 01 is ok if You use it only once. 02 and 05 are best. 04 is good as well. 03, 06 and 07 are toxic. Especially 07 (OTHER) has BPA. Its written that plastic things for babies are made in 02 or 05 plastic, buuuut I did research and found pampers wipes made in 07 plastic…

Soy/Soya - When phytoestrogens enter the body, the body’s estrogen receptors treat them as if they were estrogen. Therefore there will be no increase in actual estrogen.

What was mentioned about beer, processed food, and I guess bottled water (don’t consume anyway) are true. However, the other contents of this video are false. Phytoestrogens (plant-based estrogens) are only called estrogens because they have the same molecular structure as traditional estrogens. Phytoestrogens actually bind free estrogens and in turn actually increase testosterone levels. I’ve been in the best physical shape of my life since going plant-based two years ago. My immune system is also much stronger as I have not even experienced the yearly (sometimes twice per year) common cold. - Dr. Wooten

1:29 I use non GMO Tamari. Tamari (ususaly) is made with the Japanese variety of the plant as well as having no wheat based additives like soy sauce and is fermented and has some benefit as a prebiotc. it is the GMO soybeans that are the main problem so if you cook with soy a lot this is a potential switch just make sure it is non GMO and read the ingredients and check for wheat additives *EDIT* I double checked my fridge and the San J brand is 100% Non GMO 100% SOY

Just quit. Alcohol is poison. Screws up a lot more than just your physical health. Also kills you brain cells, kills motivations, kill self confidence, and kills you bank account. There is zero benefit from drinking booze. And I do t want to hear that wine is beneficial, and that is a bunch of BS.

A lot of these studies have been proven contradictory. In moderation none of these foods will actually make a difference and if you've noticed, he's using one sentence from a bunch of studies. There are literally thousands of other studies that say the opposite and when it comes to bodybuilding and diet everybody contradicts eachother. Do this don't do that. Do that but, don't do this. What really matters at the end of the day is your consistency at the gym and amount of processed foods you eat. Everything should be done in moderation and yes i eat beans everyday, no i dont have erectile dysfunction lmao

About plastic bottles... By now I'd have become already a woman... 38yo and drinking plastic bottled water (about 3~4 liters per day) since childhood... Not to mention beans and wheat... Being Italian and eating pasta on daily basis... 😂 😂 😂

This guy is wrong. Joey Central he literally just said beans or legumes contains physic acid, which binds to those minerals, meaning it’s an anti nutrient food, u do not absorb the minerals and also grabs onto minerals from other foods in ur diet.

There is nothing wrong with beans or legumes like garbanzo and lentils. Some of the baddest hombres ate tons of beans cause they are considered an easy protein to obtain. Gladiators were fed grains, ash and beans and those guys were testosterone infused savages.
