Thanks for your comment Ritchie 🙏 And yes, the lack of awareness of the condition within the medical community has been frustrating, but thankfully it's changing. I write about that here 👉 www.dpmanual.com/articles/depersonalization-disorder-mystery-condition/

This video is so inspiring, I have had dissociation for 4 months and lost all emotions, had time distortion ,couldn’t think nor concentrate ,couldn’t eat nor sleep properly. But recently I started feeling my emotions , like I sometimes feel genuinely happy. But just like she said ; it’s like a roller coaster some day it felt like I wasn’t getting better and it’s so discouraging like while typing this now I can feel it, but this video just gave me hope.

Thank you so much for this. This is the scariest feeling I’ve ever had. It’s been about 2 weeks now and it almost feels worse sometimes because my anxiety and fear is so bad that I’ll feel like this for years or just forever. I’m way more hopeful watching these videos. But you’re so right: I keep catching myself feeling like “oh yall aren’t real; this isn’t real; I’ll actually never feel better”. This is such an awful trip 😭 But I do feel more hopeful. Thanks yall very much.
@diartahazrolli9411Ай бұрын
Rule number one : You need to reduce the fear because it feeds your anxiety , than you need to stay very busy and youe mind need to be occupied so you don’t have time to think , go to gym , go out with friends and just understand nothing bad will happen this is super normal and all of us are experiencing this . One day this all will pass and you will be normal and happy again , i know and i’m sure.
@MarianneManning-cp7miАй бұрын
Yes accept it and just go about life no matter how much you’re struggling ! Don’t put your life on hold . Do all the things you would normally do even if it’s uncomfortable for you ! Take cold showers, walk on the cold morning grass, meditate, and a big thing for me was my faith in god !!! All these things !!!
@diartahazrolli9411Ай бұрын
Hmm , i hope all emotions will come back agian because i don’t care as much for dp/dr as i care about emotional numbness , if your are in e relationship and suddenly you lost all the emtions or better to say you just can’t feel love anymore , makes you feel confused and scary about your future because you know that you love him and when anxiety starts i feel super disconnected omg this is what breaks my heart and i really need to listen to good news that all things will come back again😔

She says she didn’t have the DPDR dream like vision.. so it truly DPDR or just an adverse reaction to a drug which resulted in anhedonia and emotional numbness?
@MarianneManning-cp7miАй бұрын
@@TheLocalDank everyone’s experience is different … I felt as if I was living in a dream . I did definitely have DPDR . I had every possible symptom you could imagine and just because it wasn’t mentioned in the video doesn’t mean I didn’t experience it . I could not feel physical sensations as well as emotional… I could feel if I had to use the bathroom or if I was hungry… all these symptoms come with DPDR.
