This channel has been a godsend in deal with DPDR. I'm not over it completely yet, but I'm finally able to enjoy things again. Watching these videos gives me hope that in the future, I can be rid of DPDR for good.

@@Dpmanual please Shaun i want to recover completely , and i need assurance as well iits been about 3 weeks now since it started i smoked weed just about 8 puffs not an edible cause of relationship stress , thats when the DPDR all started.The worst part is i cant afford your Dpmanual here in Africa things are tough but i really want to recover Honestly speaking at times it gets better then it comes back intense , i dont know if its part of the recovery process.How best can you assist me with the manual and what should i do. And take note i dont smoke weed or take drugs , it was just a one time joint when i smoked out of stress and anxiety

Don't worry Haider, it doesn't matter what caused it or how long it’s lasted, you can always switch DPDR off completely by stopping the anxiety that's causing it 😊 Read this carefully: www.dpmanual.com/articles/how-long-does-depersonalization-last/

I've had DPDR for 28 years, there is a slight improvement, but they don't go away for a second. The worst feeling is that I can't remember who I am, as if I'm faceless, and I can't even feel my loved ones. I'm exhausted

Hey bro can st john's flower help curing this condition? cause ive been suffering with this disorder for a year and 15 days now ,and its so bad i cant take it anymore and its also affecting my memory is this normal? like i go to the kitchen and then i forget why did i go there.
@DpmanualАй бұрын
Don't worry, memory issues like that are super common with DPDR. I know they can be scary but they're harmless and temporary and they will fade away and stop as your recovery continues 😊👉 www.dpmanual.com/articles/depersonalization-and-memory-loss/ And if you would like to speak to a medical professional please don't hesitate to do so. I would recommend finding an anxiety specialist if possible as they will likely be more familiar with DPDR.

Hello! I bought your manual and I read it, but the symptom of not recognizing myself in the mirror, not connecting with who I am and feeling like I'm nobody still hasn't gone away. Is this specifically part of anxiety? I'm very nervous that it will stay forever. Thanks.
@Dpmanual4 ай бұрын
Yes, as I explain in The DP Manual, that is a common symptom of anxiety and will fade away and stop as your recovery continues 😊 www.dpmanual.com/articles/back-to-normal-after-depersonalization/

@@Dpmanual So it's not dangerous to feel like I don't remember myself and feel like I'm nobody, it's just anxiety and it will pass?
@fwasonic3 ай бұрын
@@jason34796it will. It’s the fear of it that worries you, and you keep thinking about it, which makes it last longer. It is for sure just anxiety!!

I want to be able to talk to you about it personally since i have found it particularly useless and rudimentary to explain it to my parents, doctors psychiatriats, for 13 years and the meda did not work except causing a psychotic reaction and now i take antipsychotics to manage harms caused by anti depressants, tried cannabis too,and did not work either.
