@@lisahinton9682 but they are called bell peppers or sometimes "sweet peppers" in english, both in the US and other countries. "Paprika" refers to a spice made from dried and ground up peppers, the type of pepper depending on what style of paprika is being made (spicy, sweet, Spanish, Hungarian, etc) but is often made with Pimento peppers for the sweet or mild paprika and chili peppers for the spicy varieties. Obviously different languages have their own words for the peppers are the seasoning. Aaron said he couldnt find bell peppers that day so it could just be that they labeled them as "paprika" in the store. Sometimes stores will use a fancier name for a standard product and sell it for more, I did some work in an egg processing center and they sold a few different types of eggs and different prices, but they were all the exact same eggs. Legally their eggs were all considered "free range" and "organic" (the chickens were basically in a tight pen) so they had standard eggs, free range eggs, organic eggs, cage free eggs, and organic free range eggs. All the same exact eggs but at different prices.
@peterchen90314 жыл бұрын
@@lisahinton9682 I don't think he was trying to aggressively correct he was just informing Aaron of how to properly name the ingredients for the recipe since most of the people watching are the the U.S. I think you are the one overeacting and you should leave "rabitslayer" alone.

First time i tried spam was about 16 years ago. I had no idea what to do with it so since it was like ham (i assumed) i baked it in the oven covered in syrup like you would glaze a regular ham. It was surprising delicious! But to eat it normally it is so extremely salty you have to eat it in moderation and with something to cut the salt like plain rice.
@smexyphysics4 жыл бұрын
@@QueenNemesis327 lol that is pretty funny. I like to occasionally make spam musubi, having lived in Hawaii for a few years it really does grow on you. But yeah you shouldn't eat it all the time like you said it does have pretty high sodium in it, but then again so does lunch meat and hot dogs and sausages you buy from the store. Most people don't think about those, but they are just as bad as SPAM. Basically any processed meat is.
