please be careful with reflective toys, my tiel becomes obsessed with his reflection to the point of becoming aggressive towards me, so I have to limit mirror access so he doesn't become obsessed again.

Mirrors can trigger hormonal behavior because the birds believe they found another mate.
@leiad13214 жыл бұрын
Yea I have a budgie and he loves his mirror if there's a mirror he will go to it and he actually will bite me if I come near him and his mirror
@simonaeaton22174 жыл бұрын
leia D ya that’s because mirrors trigger hormonal behavior so your bird probably thinks of his reflection as another bird/mate and gets frustrated that it doesn’t respond to him so it causes aggression issues and anxiety

Cody was the best to demonstrate every toy.
@veronikaqueenstone61336 жыл бұрын
I agree with alot of these things, but mirrors are not good if your bird becomes OBSESSED. My old bird was obsessed and wouldnt even leave the mirror to eat. No hate, I just want to spread the message

@@MARLENEMCCOHEN MS. Marlene, I've just sub'd your channel and am curious about metal toxins, due to the fact many toys are .made in China, have you had a problem with zinc, lead, or copper poisening?? Please inform the novice owners that it can be a real issue. Stainless steel is the only way to go when purchasing or making a toy for one of your babies. You have a large group of fans who are children and they DO NEED TO KNOW what is proper materials to use. Keep up the GREAT WORK you do and if they follow your advice they will have healthy happy birds. Thanks again for the wonderful work you do, I have cheered up so much after finding your videos that I've encouraged my daughter to let your channel be the 1st she gets to see and learn about healthy happy pet (family) care. I am 61yr old grandmother who is old-school but your info is a perfect intro into my grandchild's ability to learn from new technology. You and your sister are so special and are a great example of learning by watching & listening.🤗 Have a wonderful labor day weekend and never forget to take care of yourself first so you have the energy to continue to inform us of proper & fun pet care!!🌺 💖

Haha they're so cute, upside down Cody honestly made my day! My budgie Snowflake's favorites were the foraging perches actually, that looked quite familiar to me!
