A shear faster than a speeding bullet, smoother than a baby's bum, and quicker than a first kiss, Katie rolled the fleece right off this one. Great shear, Katie 🥰🤘🇿🇦

This is how you shear the right way : gently, efficiently, quickly. I love your work you're an amazing shearer ❤

No matter how fast the shear, comfort and safety of the animal is always your evident first priority. Why I love every video of yours. Can't stand most other shear channels. Kindness and badass at the same time ❤

I don't know why, but it is very much a zen experience to watch you shear. You really do have a gracefullness when you shear. I appreciate the commentary added. I also think of the smell and wonder if you get nose blind after a while! Lastly, the physicality in the elements must be something else! Thank you, I greatly enjoy your channel!🇨🇦

nicely done, I love watching experienced people do their jobs so effortlessly (or make it appear so anyways lol). I'll confess though, the whole time i was remembering the previous couple of sheep we've seen and being mind blown by the difference. After watching the struggles i was noticing the constant body movement you were describing and finally truly "seeing it". I'd never watched the human before to be honest, i was always watching the sheep lol. Now i know better, so thank you for educating me!

Katie, I could be mistaken, but I assume shears happen in Spring and summer, so sheep/alpaca/llamas grow their fleece back before winter. So what does a shearer such as yourself do in winter? Enjoy time off? That sounds great! I hope so.😊

Do you ever shear show sheep? If so, how much time do you spend on them. Just curious as you’re known for your speed. That said, I love watching your videos. The way you and your wife care about the animals warms this 87 year old farm girls heart!

What do you or animal owners do with the overgrown mats that are sheared? I just started watching your videos. On an older video you sheared 160-175 llamas on a farm & you opened the trailer with all the wool.

I’ve often wondered why shearer’s don’t put the sheep on some sort of low platform, to save their backs a bit
@DiamondSG2 ай бұрын
It seems to me like the shearer uses their legs to hold the sheep, so they'd want to keep them on the ground. But I agree, that has to be painful in the long run
