6112s and Zone Off-road on Ram 1500 - A Worthy Upgrade?

I put the 6112's & 5100's on my 19' 1500 Laramie. Also did the Bilstein rear 1" lift springs. Rides like a dream for under $1500. Fits 35s easily. Did not replace my UCAs.

What height settings did you set the 6112s?

They are at the 7th slot out of 8. 8 being the highest possible lift setting @2.6" @@ryanv7195

slot 7 was supposed to be 2.3" lift

Fyi if you have a rebel you need to use slot 8 if you want a true level

I just changed the front lower control arms (with bushings and ball joints already installed) , struts, outer tie rod ends, and sway bar links on my 4th Gen Ram 1500 with 200k, I last changed shocks at 100k, and damn this time was so frustrating. The shock foot bolt was seized, and the lower control arm bolt to the frame was seized as well. Had to cut them off, but After I installed it all, I took it to get an alignment and all is well now, Rides just like new. I did the rear shocks, but now I have to do the rear springs.

im having problems with the air suspension on my 2017 ram 1500, i decided im replacing the suspension. im getting the bilstein 6112 bit i dont know what rear spring to get

Bilstein sells a rear spring that gives you about an inch of lift in the rear.

I have Bilstein 5100’s with 305/65r18 tires on. So 12” wide tire. I’m looking at the Zones, did your tires tub after the install?

No rubbing before or after with the setup I ran. Clearance between zone control arm and tire was pretty similar to stock control arm.

The way it come is unassembled front shocks, front springs, front bump stop and 5160 rear shocks. You can also get the fronts alone or with 5100 rear to save some money. You need some parts from the original front coilovers or you can buy a new top mount which is what I did. Some places sell them assembled too if you don’t want to assemble. I ran a 275/65r20 (34x11) a little room for more though if you wanted.
