Truck sitting as you came out of warehouse, had the 6 counter weights. Passed him just outside Lexington Ky 64 west bound. So I just missed you by that much. The counter weights in the cradles is what drew my attention to him.

A suggestion for those stripped screw holes would be to put in threaded "nut zerts" usually #10 machine screws.

Hi Dan and Bailey. Funny to see you take your door apart in this video. I just put the two doors back together today on my 2000 379 after rewiring my mirror-mounted turn signals. A tip, FWIW. I try to close my door as often as possible by having my window rolled down and pulling on the door by grasping the door by the window opening, above the inside handle. These doors are all aluminum and twenty plus years is a lot of door slamming, especially if you have newer door seals or a snug door fit. It will help you not have the screws get loose. Also, when closing the doors try to push the door closed where the latch is, and not from the bottom corner by the handle. Again, these doors are only aluminum and pushing on the corner will warp them over time, resulting in poor sealing and drafts. Sure like your new striping scheme. Travel safely.

Dan there are these containers that you can put in the storage space, that you can buy at Walmart. i had 2, 1. for the different small fuses that the truck and trailer used and 1. for the different nuts, bolts, washers, and screws that i might need to replace on the truck. i was a company driver so i couldn't make major changes, but the squeaks and loose screws and bolts, i could fix. the one i still have its called Stanley Professional Organizer. dont need the one for fuses, gave it to another driver when i left.

For those loose screws, use a hammer and dolly to flatten the sheet metal around the holes back to normality.

Nice to know you're feeling better. Been a heavy spring for pollin.Lots of allergies. I have a silver car and I park near a tree and it turns green. It rained all day Thursday so it got washed off. That was a lot of back weights.That whole warehouse was loaded with them. Since they were yellow i guess they will be Cats. Stay safe out there and hugs to Bailey.

I used to climb those same West Virginia mountains on old US 60 back in the 70s--two lanes and hairpin curve after hairpin curve! It was a major truck route at the time.

black metal straps that shippers use are really weak. we once had to change all the black straps to zinc metal straps, a whole lot stronger and they don't "give" when you tighten them down. had like 900 pallets we had to change.
