Love seeing the father and daughter duo working on a such a classic. Her enthusiasm and pure glee when she accomplishes a task or learns something new is awesome. My daughter doesn't seem to care about cars and may never. That's ok. My son is starting to show a little interest. Maybe I'll get to spend some of the same magical time you guys are sharing with him. Kkeep up the good work.

We for sure love the time together! It was not always classic cars, though. From tea parties to reading YA book series to Legos and dance recitals, make (not find) the time to do what they love and build that bond with them. Maybe they will eventually want to do some of the things u like. Or maybe u start to like the things they do, and your relationship will grow from there.

@@MaySeizeGarage Lol. Both of mine just had extra dance classes this morning in prep for a recital coming up. He is also way into soccer and she started playing last year. I can't make the practices but I haven't missed a game. I was never good at sports myself. He and i enjoy watching Battlebots together. They enjoy playing video games of course too. She is actually really into Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, as well. I tried the tea party thing once. Couldn't get into it :).

We are really glad you are here and enjoy the content. I worry that me teaching my kiddo may be seen as too boring but that really is what this channel is about... we just happen to be doing it on a really cool old car!

Ok I don't your guys real names so I'm just going to address these two comments to father and daughter. Daughter...this is so cool that you want to learn about fixing vehicles! Please continue to learn and grow. I know that from time to time your going to get frustrated with your father but please be patient with him and soak up all of the knowledge that you can. Ya see I never had the patience to listen and learn from my dad and he passed when I was young and now I kick myself for not listening to him. Father...it warms my heart that your teaching your daughter how to work on vehicles! I love how you take the time and show her what is the proper way to do things. You step back and let her figure things out but yet giving her the guidance that she needs. Never take this time together for granted because in a blink of an eye shell be grown up and married. Keep up the excellent work you both are amazing! Have a super great terrific day!🙂

Thank you Jerry. My name is Johnathan and my daughter is Macy. I also have a son that has not been on any videos, but the videos I make are for them. I started this channel to pass along information on how to do different tasks that I thought my kiddos may need to know. My father has passed and I wish that I could still call him up and ask for advice. Hopefully the topics we cover on this channel will be something my kiddos can look up and watch how I did things. It may not always be correct, and I hope the comments will help point that out!

Great knowledge video I always carry a peice of 1/4 steel the jack length and width plus 2 inches to put under it as not all of us have lovely level concrete 😊and a piece of carpet to put on the ground or on top of the wing to sit on if your under 5ft😂

I keep cardboard in the truck to lay on, but have not found anything for the jack. May justify building a garage with the Mrs. If it's for the kiddos safety.

I enjoyed your videos after watching Dylan and Jacob's two videos. I used to have a mopar with a 318 V-8 back in the early 70's when I was in high school and just started to learn and try to fix up our cars. When you put that top of the air cleaner back upside down reminded me of what we used to do with our cars as teenagers. We would flip those tops upside down and screw down that wing nut on purpose to allow more volume of air to reach the air filter and into the carburetor and give the car a boost of power at no cost at all LOL. Not sure how much that really help but it was done in those early days.

heater cores are one of the most pain in the butt jobs to do on a car.
