Namaste! Thank you so much for your kind words. I’m really glad to be a small part of your journey. I completely understand that staying consistent can be challenging, especially in today’s world where nights can be tempting to unwind. For me, maintaining consistency was much easier during my 30 days at the yoga ashram, surrounded by 50 others all following the same routine. However, we come into this world alone and will leave it the same way, so it’s crucial to push ourselves to be better every day. One thing that really helps me stay consistent is remembering "Why I started." Having a clear purpose keeps the motivation alive. I hope you find your own "Why" to keep your journey steady and fulfilling. I’ve already shared a short video of my evening routine and will definitely provide more details as many of you are interested. Thank you once again for your kindness and support towards Ayurveda and yoga. May Shiva bless you. Har Har Mahadev!

@@_radhikajagtap in which sence ayurveda gives important to egg ! I want to be vegetarian but as lack of source of protein in hostel , I still consuming eggs.
@_radhikajagtap2 ай бұрын
It sounds like we’re on a similar journey! I haven’t had meat for four months and have transitioned to a vegetarian diet as well. To manage protein intake, I’ve been including eggs in my diet. While there are many egg substitutes, I find eggs easier to prepare since I’m not very into cooking yet. I believe that one day we’ll both be fully vegetarian and live in a way that doesn’t harm other beings. May Shiva give us the strength and guidance to achieve this. Regarding the role of eggs in Ayurveda, it’s important to clarify that Ayurveda doesn’t prioritize specific foods like fruits, vegetables, or meats in isolation. Instead, it offers a broad perspective on how various foods affect our health. For example, ripe mangoes can reduce Vata, while watermelons might increase it. This information helps individuals with a Vata constitution, like myself, choose the right fruits to consume. Similarly, Ayurveda provides details on the effects of all types of food, including fruits, vegetables, lentils, nuts, oils, and meats. According to Dr. Vasant Lad in his book "The Complete Book of Ayurvedic Home Remedies," eggs can reduce Vata and Kapha. For someone with a Pitta constitution, consuming only the egg whites is recommended. Ayurveda offers nuanced guidance rather than a black-and-white view of any food. It’s essential to make dietary choices based on one’s prakriti, geographical location, season, and daily routine.

I loved your video, however I noticed you did not talk bout using the toilet in the morning. Ayurveda emphasizes this practice a lot and is the most important aspect of the morning routine in my opinion.
@_radhikajagtap2 ай бұрын
Of course! According to Ayurveda, removing toxins is a fundamental process. However, due to my Vata Prakirti, my body doesn't eliminate toxins as soon as I wake up. It usually happens after my first meal, so I didn't mention it initially. I don't aim to provide in-depth knowledge on Ayurveda as I'm still learning about it myself. Instead, I want to share my experiences and practices to inspire and motivate others to explore Ayurveda and possibly incorporate it into their lives. I hope that by following Ayurvedic principles, I can better manage my Vata and eventually make a video showing how I use the toilet as a regular part of my morning routine. Your blessings for this journey would be greatly appreciated! ❤

You don't drink empty stomach water ?
@_radhikajagtap2 ай бұрын
As a Vata prakriti, I’ve found that managing hunger can be a bit tricky. My doctor recently advised me to limit my water intake before my first meal. Here’s the reasoning behind it: Drinking warm water on an empty stomach can be very helpful for bowel cleansing, especially for someone with a Vata constitution, as it can help alleviate constipation. This practice is known as Usha Paan, or “Water of Dawn.” However, this warm water can also cool down the digestive fire (agni) in the stomach. Since agni is crucial for digestion and stimulating hunger, consuming too much water before breakfast can sometimes reduce my appetite until lunch. Additionally, because my digestive fire isn’t as strong as that of someone with a Pitta prakriti, drinking warm water on an empty stomach can interfere with the digestion of food from the previous night. My doctor recommended avoiding this practice to help regulate my hunger patterns. If I had a Pitta or Kapha constitution, I might be able to do Usha Paan and still feel hungry for breakfast. This illustrates the beauty of Ayurveda-each person is considered unique, and treatments are tailored to their individual body nature. I hope this helps clarify why I skip Usha Paan on an empty stomach, even though it’s a beneficial practice for others.
@shrutimishra4892 ай бұрын
I checked with two ayurvedic Dr. One said I am pitta prakriti and the other said vaata+ pitta prakriti . I am thin with the digestion issue if I don't consume fiber for 2 days then I face constipation. I drink warm water in empty stomach . Naturopathy Dr says I should not heat water directly and drink I should do double boiler than drink .

Remember the halant? The little line below a letter to close a consonant. Without the halant Sanskrit spelling has and open vowel ending. Not closed consonant ending. Therefore the name is indeed Shiva. Not Shiv. Shiv is Hindi. Not Sanskrit. The name Shiva also means “the auspicious one” and has been used for other deities including Adi Shakti and also for MahaVishnu. It is one of the 1000 names in Vishnusaharanamam.
