个人是觉得很多时候英语有点难翻译去华语，就好像break a leg是说祝你好运，take a chill pill是说calm down and relax, rain cats and dogs是说下很大的雨etc..... 我记得我跟一个中国朋友说break a leg, 她以为我在骂她。

"rain cats and dogs" is an English idiom, however "Break a leg" is a typical English idiom used in the context of theatre or other performing arts to wish a performer "good luck". An ironic or non-literal saying of uncertain origin, "break a leg" is commonly said to actors and musicians before they go on stage to perform or before an audition. So it's not commonly used in daily life.JX❤

想成是守門員就可以了解了。 比如說我是個動漫新手，一開始都是沒看動漫的。是最近看到紅出圈的鬼滅之刃才開始入坑，可是動漫老鳥們這時就會嘲諷新手只是跟風仔，不是真正的動漫愛好者之類的，他們的行為就是在 gatekeep 換句話說，他們不認為新手有資格和他們相提並論，“我們是不同的，你別靠過來”，這就是在守門~
