Thank you!! The pain was so bad and I was worried I wouldn't be able to run my 10k in 3 weeks... Something didn't feel right when standing, the 2nd stretch you showed, did it 🥳 Instant relief!!!

Ah great advice I got to the end to hear mine the one where I need to go see somebody . I have lower back pain affecting left hip now left knee bad so I’m expecting all related 😢. Was hoping for something I could help my self but Thankyou . Also wow the muscles in your quad , I’m a woman and want an our workout lol , fantastic shape ( I workout a lot so saying this from sporting view btw )

Thank you!! I've been in a lot of pain for the last 3 days and I just watched your video. I had the inside knee pain (with frontal knee pain as well; which felt like my kneecap was loose and sliding around)...I was very worried I'd maybe kneed (ha!) surgery (as I've been unable to properly walk or straighten my leg due to the pain). I've been moaning and cursing for days now due to the pain which was quite severe. I just did what you suggested (pressing as per inner knee pain) and it WORKED! Thanks a lot! I've been in quite bad pain until now. I liked the vid cos it was extremely helpful. Having the pain finally gone is wonderful! I immediately started yelling "you wonderful man!" as my pain subsided and I'm now able to straighten my leg without any pain. I am extremely grateful as the pain was pretty bad... equivalent to a broken toe, snapped and the knee pain was the same...so to have it gone after 3+ days of agony is...wonderful to say the least. Thanks 🙂

@More4Life update, my knee now has an issue of only hurting while bending towards straight, and none of these tricks worked. I am also on vacation, so a doctor is difficult. Any intense tests? I have found that flicking my foot up and down slightly helps

I have had right knee pain for a long time and have the symptoms you mentioned (pain after sitting or laying for a while and initially standing up and putting weight on leg, then it loosens up and doesn’t get too bad). Could it be because I sleep with my right leg bent to the side? Like a one leg clam shell?

That's unlikely the only reason... many people sleep like that and don't have knee pain. Putting a pillow or two under your right leg might be helpful though (Lying on left side with right knee bent up like a one-leg clams shell?). LOL thanks... That would unfortunately be a pretty boring video. Lift heavy (mostly NOT biceps curls), and eat healthy with lots of protein. And picking the right parents helps some too 😀

When I was teenager, I would sleep with my legs bent (in fetal position) and one night I woke up to my left knee painfully throbbing and to release the pain I would have to straighten it. That transition to straighten it was extremely painful and made a popping sound, but once it was straight, it started to feel better. From that day, I have never been able to keep my knee bent for more than an hour without painful throbbing (the longer it's bent, the more severe the pain is). My dad took me to the doctor as a teen, where they did a MRI, and only found my fat pad was inflamed, but couldn't give an answer. We went to another doctor whom thought it was maybe a runners knee and was told to strengthen my quadriceps, in which I did, but it never got better. I am now 33 years old and have had to adapt to this being my new normal. Both knees do it now, but left is significantly worse. I have slept with my legs completely straight for 20 years. Movie theaters, flights and anywhere I have to sit without room to have my legs straight is very difficult and almost impossible to do due to the pain that forms. If I accidentally fall asleep with my legs bent, it is excruciatingly painful to straighten it, but painfully throbs if I don't. Pop sounds every time I have to straighten my leg if I've accidentally have had them bent for more than an hour. If you have any insight or know if any good doctors in Minnesota, let me know 😭. I have learned why I have sometimes discomfort in my knee on the inner part - sitting incorrectly - possibly also from crossing my legs, so the knee is in innatural position. Sometimes probably after swimming in breastroke style (since the knees also work weirdly then). But I actually came here for another reason (in my other knee): I did not have this problem for a long time (like 10 years). I have a sharp pain in my knee if my leg was bent for a longer time (like +30 minutes) and I straighten my leg. Then there is a really sharp pain, but that passes after a minute of so when I move it. When I am driving my car longer than around 30 minutes, when I am sleeping (I sleep with bent knees) - the pain actually wakes me up several times at night. I have it for few days only, possibly it will be gone in few days - hopefully. I remember when I was in high school and I felt pain after every lesson - because of sitting 45 minutes begind the desk with legs bent. Once I couldn't stand up from my bed after waking up, because it was the biggest pain I had with that knee. Now it came back - maybe it is some inflammation or something, but for sure I did not injure it in any way...

Thanks so much for this video! I’m 42 and a school bus driver. I just recently started having knee pain after my knee was bent for a few minutes (I sit on my knees a lot…might be part of the issue 😂). I also have arthritis on my mom’s side and have gotten extremely lucky up until now with any knee issues. I’m really hoping it’s not arthritis, and that stretching my hamstrings will help! How long and how often should we be stretching? I did each leg for about two minutes or so and I already feel like it’s so much better. My driving routes are only about two hours, twice per day. But, two hours twice per day, five days per week might be catching up to me! 😬 Thanks again!!

Stretching each leg for 2 minutes 1-2 times per day is sufficient for most people.

Thank you for this video, you explained a little on pain in the knee (behind the cap) when straightening it. I am a soccer player and i feel that pain whenever i hit the ball or try to shoot the ball..Please Can you make a detailed on the cause of front knee pain when straightening the knee . Where on the front of the knee is the pain? In most cases with kicking, it's from an overuse of the quadriceps muscles causing pain in the tendon above or below the kneecap. Some possible solutions would be using your hip to initiate the kick more, following through more after ball contact, and/or stretching your quads. Mine started a few months ago. I was washing my car with knee pads. I have done this for years as I can quickly bend with my knees on the ground for cleaning the wheels/lower parts of the car. It started right after I had finished washing the car in my left knee. This is the knee I go down on first. I can also feel it when pulling up my leg to put on shoes-socks. It has gotten a bit better but I'm afraid to wash my car now! Lol!🤣

I had no idea what you meant so I googled CLUTCH: "Clutch” describes something awesome or cool. If someone says, “That’s so clutch!” they’re saying, “That’s so cool!” They’re expressing an interest in whatever they’re talking about-take it as a compliment. Think of it like a clap on the back or a round of applause. I got more education than just Dr Candy's video on knee pain & exercise!
