@@Sloekies check out this video... kzbin.info/www/bejne/oXSklGmVgsl1iqs this will change the global traffic speed limits... If you want to change individual vehicle speed limits eg. audi a3 or scania traffic, then you'll have to mod each vehicle's sui file located in def\vehicle\ai and def\vehicle\truck, open it with notepad++ editor and change the line of max_speed to the value you want. I would however suggest you watch kzbin.info/www/bejne/q2alhomnbtueh9E and go through all those videos in the playlist as it prepares you for your own unique mod. You'll also learn a lot of tricks along the way. Hope this answers your question 😉

Can you help me, please, telling me HOW do I put on DAF XD 2021 engine list the 950HP engine, like the other DAFs have access to it ? Is there a workaround to do that ? I ask that because modding directly an engine (by adding a new one) to DAF XD 2021 is hard because its files are locked in the DLC and I don't know the folder structure and its engines files data.

Hello your videos are really helpful but could I ask how can I change the odometer as I have a broken truck but it has 126.000 miles on the clock and I want to buy another truck but edit the odometer on the new truck basically transfer the mileage from the broken truck to the new one

Instead of creating a mod this way, is it not possible to modify the power values directly in the .sii files? I ask because I tried and the game does not take into account my modifications. I extracted the def directly where it is in the game files and modified its .ssi inside. What should I do for them to take my changes into account? Or at least is it possible? I did like you in the video, I have the mod which is active, but I can't find the engine. yet I have everything the same.. Except that I modified the Alison 4500 R transmission which I renamed Alison 4500 R modded, but neither the engine nor the transmission is visible in the modification of the truck.. The volvo.fh16_2012 is the 1st volvo, the cheapest right? Anyway I looked on my other Volvo and there is still nothing.

hi... if you followed the instructions exactly, you shouldn't have any problems and I'm not aware of any other way of modding other than editing the relevant .sii files. Unless you're a next level programmer that can write specific scripts to run specific algorithms, this is really the only way. ... but, if I understand your question about the game not recognizing the changes... then it's because the file you modified has to be recreated into the mod folder. You can still use the exact same file and just change the power values, but when you save it, it has to be as described in the tutorial or else it won't be recognized. As for your black screen... this tutorial has zero impact on graphics related changes???

@@migstrucker-modding The black screen is good, a few minutes later I modified my comment because just by restarting my game, it was launching fine after that. On the other hand, sorry but I'm not sure I understand, I will have to do the creation again but in the mod folder directly? Could a defect in the description, or with the png for the logo, make it appear active but the modifications are not taken into account?
