Something that makes you emotionally weak: having an argument with strangers whom I don't care about, about the topics I'm sensitive about. When I have zero social interactions in real life cause of my social anxiety and people drain my energy.
@greenbird7773 жыл бұрын
??: Sounds familiar. For me, it's not that I don't care about the people I "talk" to on KZbin, it's just that this is all I can tolerate right now. I don't have enough energy to keep real relationships going. I think it's because I need a lot of control over my interactions with people - here in the comments section, I can respond to others, or choose not to. I'm free to act honestly, and instead of anger over all the times I DON'T respond, I get socially rewarded for ANY attempt I make at connecting with others. I wish my family would try harder to understand this piece of what I'm going through. Instead, they get angry or hurt because I'm not socializing the way they want me to.

Human beings have this desire, a longing to belong, that they are cared for, that they are loved unconditionally. And to satisfy this desire, they look for all the places they can receive it. Some find it in their family, some in their jobs, hobbies, relationships etc. And when these needs are not met, they become depressed. And this is inevitable since the longing/desire cannot be satisfied completely by these things or people since all of them are temporary. This is where faith comes into picture. When you have faith, you know that there is someone out there, a powerful being, who created you, brought you into existence, takes care of you, and looks after you so much so to the point of never taking His eyes away from you. Not even for a moment. When you know that this is your God, your creator, your maker, the most merciful. You know you're at home. After all, “The only one who can truly satisfy your heart is the one who created it”. “Truly, in the heart there is a void that cannot be removed except with the company of God; and in it there is a sadness that cannot be removed except with the happiness of knowing God and being true to Him; and in it there is an emptiness that cannot be filled except with love for Him and turning to Him and always remembering Him; and if a person were given the entire world and what is in it, it would never fill that emptiness.” Almighty God says: "Truly in the remembrance of Allah(God) that hearts find peace" Qur'an 13:28 He also says: "He is with you wherever you are" Qur'an 57:4 When you believe in this, you are at peace at all times. You feel you're taken care of, you're loved unconditionally, so you become happy & satisfied even though you're in the middle of the storm. Our purpose in life is to recognize our creator, the Almighty God. So find out the truth of your existence today and seek the Almighty God. For if you seek Him, you will surely find Him. Start with Islam, the true religion of Almighty God. Peace.

Your feelings are so valid. What you're going through is something that is beyond your control, and all you can do is to be gentle with yourself. I know that it sucks to feel this way because I myself am going through the exact same thing. They're constantly invalidating you through manipulation and gaslighting and that's what ruins us most. But always remember that there is still hope. What you're going through is temporary. You WILL get through this. You are so very loved and so IMPORTANT, and you deserve to have your voice be heard. Thank you for opening up, it takes so much courage and strength to put it down on a video. You are amazing

essentially , as much as you can , maintain perspective and don't get lost in the mire , situations and emotions will be challenging at times , but if you hold onto your frame of mind for as long as you can and train this ability you will become stronger , you are not your emotions , remain in your mind , accept and try to just observe the emotions as they pass over time and avoid the trap of feeling bad for feeling bad , massive massive thing , i used to do that all the time , pain and hopelessness lie , its not going to be this way forever , even if you believe and deeply feel it will , it is hard to put into words how strong this effect can be , pure defeatism , and it will make things worse , or less good than they could be , this goes for all of life , its not easy , but it is important , its not your fault , but it is your responsibility
@chelseaharridass45313 жыл бұрын
I don't have any faith , confidence or trust in myself . And it makes me uncomfortable when someone gives me a job to complete or if someone says they like me . Because I'm never ready for such a serious job or commitment . It always makes me pressured and I don't know why . I end up feeling like my world is breaking down even if its such a small thing , cuz I can't even take care of myself so what's a responsibility to me? People normally attack me emotionally because I'll most likely do something on impulse to that person or myself , hopefully I'll overcome this problem .

I recognise all of these in myself, but I just cant figure out how to cope with them. The more I watch these kinds of videos, the more I see of myself already buried deep into a hole I cant get of. No reason to believe in myself because I constantly make mistakes and they keep getting worse. There is no point looking after myself because I cant get a break without being judged. So I judge myself as such. I've been controlled by others that I've left behind, and keep failing to gain control because I feel so lost Identity wise. I cant even tell what genuine emotions are anymore.
@kleashuli16473 жыл бұрын
Don't be so harsh on yourself. Know that you're not at your healthiest mental state. Take a break. Journal, meditate, listen to calming music (lofi hip hop radio really helps me) and talk to your closest people. Just like everybody else you have flaws, make mistakes, but make sure to acknowledge your strengths and achievements. You are expressing yourself here, not bottling up your thoughts and emotions. Good job! You've made it this far. This is a big one. Do not believe everything your mind says. Take a deep breath. Punch a negative thought about yourself with 5 positive ones. Let this become a habbit. Look after yourself. You got this!

How about 'Emotional Manipulation vs. Hollow Sympathy'. I say this only because I struggle to express empathy towards others about matters that don't immediately impact me. I WANT to feel something to help make my offer of emotional support genuine, but more often than not my brain is simply too analytical and so while I might SAY "I'm happy to hear that!" my THOUGHT is "There is literally nothing I can use this information for or any value in retaining this knowledge... ... ... but we better provide a positive response to avoid potential conflict." I'm not trying to harm you emotionally, like I said, I really do want that emotional support to be genuine, but I also haven't figured out a way to fabricate those emotions when I need them. P.S. Yes, my internal monologue uses the word 'we' rather than 'I' because I tend to refer to myself from a separate perspective, like I'm trying to mentor myself. Unless I'm berating myself in which case I tend to use 'you'. (Possibly me trying to disassociate my actions from myself? Trying my best not to self-diagnose).

In case you didn’t know, the htp test is a test where you draw a house, a tree, and a person with as much detail as possible and as much time as needed. There’s a website that lists all the small details that could be found in each drawing and how it hints at mental issues. It sounds like astrology levels of random, but it’s pretty dang accurate Edit: the htp test isn’t like scientifically proven (as far as I know) but it still has reasonable logic behind it, so it’s not perfectly accurate, but still pretty dang close considering how absurd it sounds

It becomes pretty difficult in understanding emotions on screen and might lead to misunderstandings. So ig this type of video can help a lot. Btw love your channel! ^^

Judging yourself for how you feel is a big one for me. Always had a hard time with that one since my parents always told me I shouldn't feel that way and to get over it. Always thought there was something wrong with me because of it but the more and more I learn about psychology the more I understand that my parents aren't the perfect people they think they are. Even if I am sad when everyone is happy, I should embrace the fact I am sad instead of trying to be happy and go along with it.

Can we have a video for people dealing with mental health issues while in a relationship with someone? - P.S. - if someone wants to read my story, please go ahead: I’m in a relationship with a wonderful person. Problem is, I know my heart and mind are lacking because of the underlying anxiety and issues to do with sadness. Add to that dealing with the baggage from a previous toxic relationship. I don’t want to lose this person and I’m fighting a big battle mentally. I hope I find the peace I deserve. I want to be a better partner and person.

I take issue with the first one, because in believing in yourself, you're also denying the idea that you have flaws, and when you do come up short, you show that you're arrogant and prideful and vain. I also think I should judge myself for how I feel. If I feel like cheating on my wife, do you think that's good and valid? No. I need to figure out why I feel that way and teach myself not to feel that.

Please make a video on " 5 Things that can help you to change your depressed mentality. "
@vellrahm43113 жыл бұрын
I cannot agree with the overall message of |5. Everything happens for a reason| To be honest, it depends on how you analyse things and what results you expect to get. I believe a question you can apply to this problem of overanalysing would be ''What's the meaning of life?'' While other might say, life is there to experience everything as much as you can and to just treat yourself with new things, another group says it's all about following a path filled with results, to an ultimate goal. Another may say it's about finding absolute peace, not happiness, not a negative drive, but absolute balance and peace. The issue with ''Everything happens for a reason'' would be that you look for an UNIVERSAL answer, while some things just cannot be answered for everyone. For example: While Wood definitely is brown, the meaning behind collecting that wood is different for everyone.

I’m wondering how to notice denial in someone or what denial can look like in a person. I’m not talking about the “stages of grief” denial, I’m talking about a denial that can interfere with someone’s outlook on life and how they see things. I’m not sure how else to explain it, but overall I’m curious about what denial can do to a person overtime.

sit quietly in silence. and think about your life. who you are as a kid. before truama. what happened to you. things you remember. like and dislike. write some on paper. figure out... what you need. and what you want they're different. and you are who you were born as. not who you want to be. accept that. I wish I did. accept you limitations. if you make yourself into someone you aren't.. it's ok for awhile. but it makes you miserable and it can destroy you. Video suggestions (if they’re not already there, there’s so many I often forget I’ve seen them): 1. Tips and ways to be kinder to yourself 2. Signs you’re in a relationship with a covert narcissist 3. Tips to distance or end unhealthy friendships/relationships 4. Signs of addiction? (I think in others is already there, so what about one with signs of addiction in you) 5. Signs your family/member is toxic or unhealthy 6. Signs of being overly subconscious of yourself (or worrying too much) 7. Ways to help heal (or face) trauma 8. Tips for ptsd or cptsd 9. Signs your therapist may not be the best fit for you/or is a good fit (this is a ridiculous suggestion because I know you guys are not licensed and just want to open ideas and perceptions, and that a video like this could have legal liability possibly idk) 10. Signs of breadcrumbing? 11. Signs your partner actually despises you (or hates) 12. Tips for practicing or reminding to challenge negative and self depreciating thoughts 13. Signs of childhood trauma as an adult (pretty sure this is already a video y’all have) 14. Signs you give too many chances. 15. Signs you’re subtly abusive or unaware Also, if able without getting in to any legal troubles, could y’all release a video of mental health books that you strongly suggest, a basis of what they help cover and what it targets in the book, and maybe your rating of it? I know the Body Keeps the Score is a great one as is feeling good (the new mood therapy), but to see other self-help/workbooks for mental health would be awesome. As well as they’re focal points. Thank you guys for being so incredible! You’ve truly helped me open my eyes to things I did was unaware of, dealt with, or simply was experiencing from myself and others. Which there in helped me confront it in therapy. Your channel helps so much to enlighten me and so many others and I love the content you guys produce.

@@ritaevora9430 I know exactly what you mean man. Cuz I'm literally dealing with that same feeling as of writing this comment. That's why I said I feel like I'm living life on 20%. The loneliness, the depressive episodes... it all takes a mental toll my psyche and drains my soul to the point where I can't even indulge in gaming or hobbies without feeling shit. The occasional """"friends"""" I do have, compliment me on being a good emotional support. But those words have lost all their meaning because they never show it through their actions. Everytime I need to talk or hangout with one they conveniently never make the effort to do so, only ghosting or declining my offer to such frequent consistency that makes me realize the reality that nobody really gives two shits about me. I don't even know why I'm trying to live life when it's clear that the world doesn't want me or even acknowledge my existence. If I was lying of the side walk you'd all walk over me. I'm tired of giving it my all only to be bested by a person who pours 5% effort in a relationship and somehow manages to be acknowledged and appreciated for more then what their worth

dating online: the reason i like it more is that you dont get to see the person first hand, now that might sound bad cause theres been a lot of cases when the person might be a little- too old- but if we ignore that i believe that online dating is a lot better, since you dont judge the person first hand of how they look like and instead their personality and their value, you dont have to feel self conscious about how you look like

I understand this but lets think about who are they telling it for, if its for your own good, its fine. But if its for something to their advantage, that is not accepted. One solution i could think of is to make them understand how you feel by having a conversation, but if they dont understand i dont really know what you can do to get out of your problem. I have faced this with my parents too, many times they just dont get what we feel and all i do is accept the reality and try to understand from their perspective but it always doesnt make sense to me too. All i can say to make you feel better is that you are not aone bud :)

2:56 I do not believe in current dating conventions. I do however think that purely text based conversations can give each person insight on their other counterpart's personality removed from physical appearances, weakening biases. That statement stands though on the assumption each person avoids deluding themselves with unrealistic expectations on their potential partner's looks/voice and let themselves be surprised which may not be a given. Same with honesty, but that's a problem transcending the realm of dating.
