I'm currently in Luxury Huay Kaew and it is a very nice place to stay. if anyone does look to move to these apartments in future, be aware that they dont accept card payments so you will need cash. Rates are currently 15000 per month and and extra 600 baht for bedding if you need them to supply it. Deposit is a hefty 20000 baht but there are no issues getting this back. Electric is 8 baht per unit, water and wifi are included in price. Rooms can be cleaned when you want at 200 baht per time.

Just left yesterday morning but just moved 100 yards up the road to the Dome Residence :). You chose a nice place. Wish i could afford to stay longer but need to budget for longer term.

Good info, was wondering about bedding. What about towels for bath and kitchen? Also what size is the bedding? I can bring my own from the states to save $ Thanks!

Hi Vickie, they provide 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels. The bed is queen size so it would be advisable to buy bedding if staying for more than a month. The bedding they have is quite heavy and the rooms on the front of the building get quite hot.

I would say these are rooms and not apartments, small rooms at that, 15 to 20 sq meter. and this is the lingo in .thai also, "go to room"...

bruh bru, you know that you can get a 4 bed/3 bath house furnished for 9k? I think they are year leases though. I'm not saying that that's something you would be looking for, but if somebody was wanting to do a year in Chiang Mai with some other folks....

Yes, just lacking any cool amenities. A lot of the nomads on tighter budgets live there. They call it the "siri" I've been told
