@Lauren Li Certainly noted and I will definitely try to keep those coming. Once in a while, I have to do videos to explain common questions in the comments so I can just post a link instead of answering them a hundred times... like the character clothes requests. But I will surely keep the exploring vids coming. Thanks for the feedback! 😁👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I agree with you that some of the property locations should be more interactive, but I also find it strange that almost all of the cabins that you find that you can actually enter are also missing any NPC characters. You walk into cabins and you find hot bubbling stews cooking on the stove or in a kettle outside, tables set for dinner, active fires in the fire pits or fireplaces, yet there is no one in sight. It kind of ruins the immersion. If these places are going to be missing people they should also be missing any signs of recent activity.

Riding Big Scout through the shallow water is the best thing I've seen in a video for months (jetski!🤣)--wouldn't that be so much fun in real life! I think he enjoyed it, too! I love this man! Such a cool video. I remember the first Red Dead Redemption being so fun, not because there was an infinite amount of things to do but because the players would make the most out of the game. They would make groups and posses, use the forts for battles with other players, role play, etc. Now with rdr2 we have an even bigger world with more to do, better graphics, and more interaction and people just complain haha. Anyways I appreciate your videos(: I wish there were more people that play like you.

"you are only as limited as your imagination" is a great perspective to have, especially in a game that otherwise doesn't offer much. while i still get bored of the grind, i'm always reminded that there's so much more to see and do as long as i take the time to stop and smell the ( virtual ) roses. these videos have really brought more life and opportunity to my rdo experience, as i'm sure they have for many others. thank you, ceofoxtrot! i look forward to your next upload 😁 ps, i'm glad you took a minute to pet the dogs at manzanita! i was going to fuss at you for ignoring the one that came up to you while you were sitting on the bench 🤣❤

Thank you so much! What a beautiful game! So much to learn especially for a newbie. The only thing bad has been being attacked and blown up by people I have no clue who they are or why they do it? But these videos really help! I like the horse you have in this video, which horse is it. My rank probably isn't high enough but would like to know. Thanks
@ceofoxtrot
@ceofoxtrot 2 жыл бұрын
@slice51 Those people that have been blowing you up are called “griefers” which is basically another name for “bully”. They pray on weaker players than themselves (usually newbies) and it makes them feel like they’re better than everyone else (like a bully) only until they meet their match… then they run away like a little kid in search of newbie players that are weaker than them. It’s a pretty sad cycle. When you reach level 90, look into “explosive round ammo” which kills griefers with “one shot”, and they quickly leave you alone. You have to gather animal fat to craft explosive rounds, so use explosive rounds on griefers ONLY! As for the horse, it’s a “Shire” which I personally believe to be the best “well rounded” horse in the game… and you can buy it at a low rank… and it’s only $120! kzbin.info/www/bejne/qKa2q4Weaa2FZpo 😳👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Hope this helps!

@Bruno Montano Thanks Bruno!!! That’s what I’ve (and R*) has been trying to get players to realize for years. It’s the main purpose that I’ve created this channel. I personally believe that Rockstar Games is having a very difficult time getting players to cross over from playing a “video game” to playing an “open world simulation”... which was built for “building as you grow” rather than “grinding quickly to the top”. It’s great to hear that it’s making a difference, so THANK YOU so much!!! 😁👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Since seeing this video for the first time, I wanted to try one thing. Re-igniting the campfire at the native village. But took me some time till my casual playing got me into this area to experiment. Well, was just one single idea to test. Using the Wilderness Camp in there and see if it won't claim the fire place in the village or at least create a campfire close enough to the huts to work as the village campfire. It failed utterly. Not only it does not create the campfire anywhere near those huts, but you can't even activate the Wilderness Camp in that area. You need to go as far as to the shores of the basin for the camp to spawn. Was really a letdown. Guess only way how to ignite the fire there is throwing some fire bottles.

Have you considered doing comparison videos using red dead redemption (1) and RDR2/RDO?
@ceofoxtrot
@ceofoxtrot 3 жыл бұрын
@alienchig1 Although that is an awesome suggestion... I never thought to try Red Dead Redemption 1 on the XBox One console to see if it’s even compatible. It would also be too much effort to try to get re-familiar and level up again in Red Dead Redemption 1 to even do fair comparisons of both games. I simply don’t have the time to invest to go back to Red Dead Redemption 1 and play both 1 & 2 games simultaneously. Great suggestion though! 😁👍🏼

I've recently settled in Tall Trees. Been moving around look for a good place to set up camp. Really lovr big valley, but to often I'm down at Diablo ridge, which is nice but I prefer the little creek area. So far I've been liking Tall Trees though. Lemoyne is a bjt to busy for my liking, and thr grizzlies are a touch to desolate. Heartland are quite njce, but I like the Trees. So I I hoping I will find Tall Trees to be a lovely location. I am going to be looking around since I just moved in and take a gander at these locations. Also, does leaving a skinned animal actually attract predators? I did not know that. If so, that is very cool
@ceofoxtrot
@ceofoxtrot 3 жыл бұрын
@megaraptor077 Awesome share! As for the skinned carcass method, I don’t actually know if it works, but it’s how I role play things in the game. I know that Rockstar Games has a lot of AI (Artificial Intelligence) programed into Red Dead Redemption, so I always try to do everything that makes sense. For example, you may notice whenever you’re hunting with your gun “out,” animals don’t spawn as much as they do if your gun is “put away” when traveling. A cougar did spawn using the skinned carcass, but I have “no proof” that the carcass helped the spawn. 🤔👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
@megaraptor007
@megaraptor007 3 жыл бұрын
@@ceofoxtrot I didn't realize that actually. But now that I'm thinking about it, you're right. I'll start hunting, seeing a bunch of signs and pull out my bow or varmint rifle, then everything vanishes. I'm definitely going to rememver that and test it when I can
@ceofoxtrot
@ceofoxtrot 3 жыл бұрын
@megaraptor007 I only hunt without my gun drawn... besides, it’s excellent practice for drawing your weapon to shoot. But they want the game to look as alive as possible, but they know if you’re hunting, you would make too much money to fast, so (I believe) that they game’s (AI) lowers the animal spawn rate when (it) knows that your hunting. That’s why I always try those things that “makes sense” in the game. I would do videos on that, but I can’t prove that it’s a fact... and I don’t want Rockstar to patch it if it is true and ruin the exploit for players who also use it. Then there’s the “know it all” commenters who would demand that it’s simply not true and call me a “clickbaitor” LOL. There are many things about the game that I know, but will “never” reveal in my videos. 😕👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I would love more interactive places such as cabins (nice cabins, not wrecks,) campsites, and the like. However, I would much rather have actual properties, like R* gave us in GTA-Online. A room at an inn, for example, would be equivalent to the ghetto apartment, and it could go up from there to some place like the Brandywine Mansion. Make these places where we can relax, have a spot that is truly safe from player and NPC attacks, RP, and who knows what else that could be added in.
