He knew I wasn't looking for casual I wanted to start a family. But my vibe was not desperate at all. He could tell I was going to get what I wanted with him or without him. From my experience as an observer, when meeting a man for the first time or on the initial encounter/date, if they claim to be your husband, they genuinely mean it. Based on what I've witnessed, this approach seems to work. There's a belief that men, from the moment they meet someone, already sense they'll marry them - akin to fairy tales, but in reality. Personally, I have yet to encounter this phenomenon myself.
@myhappyplace78613 жыл бұрын
This is an awesome video. Have been married for 36 years. My husband told me years ago that men just want to make us happy. So just tell them what we need. If it is reasonable and within his power he’ll do it. And he’s good to his word. By the same token, I do the same for him. We spoil each other. Within reason. We make spending time together a priority. And we show appreciation for the others contribution. We try to be more polite and thankful to each other than we would be to a stranger. All of the things in your video are absolutely accurate. If you’re being disrespected and can’t work it out, there’s something better for you.
@Sarablueunicorn2 жыл бұрын
Men want to make the woman they choose happy and they will do it without her doing anything in return. They don't give a flying f*ck about a woman's happiness but they know if she's happy she will provide everything listed here + sex. Doesn't mean he loves her or wants her happiness, it's transactional.
@myhappyplace78612 жыл бұрын
@@Sarablueunicorn I think it depends on the man. All people are different, men and women. Some women or users some men are users. Some men are not users and some men are users. Most things in life are transactional even among friends. If one starts to feel taken advantage of, they will distance themselves if they’re not able to work it out. Human nature. At least in my opinion

Women receive and reciprocate. The man has to give the woman something to work with. No matter how powerful and loving a woman is the man gives the ingredients, the woman makes the cake. There needs to be more information to teach the man the ingredients to bring so she can then have something to work with.

@@indy18286 She brings the ability to reciprocate and multiply. It’s the masculine and feminine principle. He puts the seed in, she makes a baby. He builds the house she makes a home. He gathers the food she serves the masses. This is the first principle of life. No one is saying the woman has nothing, does nothing or brings nothing. We all know women can do wonders with or without. However for there to be balance the woman needs not bring all this wonderful stuff to no table when the man has no table to put it on. She’s to reserve herself for the one who values what she has and then she releases as he shows he’s it. Folk are getting waaaay too far from the yin and yang of life. As couples prove themselves to one another over time then they both can move gracefully in and out of their masculine and feminine energy. In the beginning stages, women need to be about their business until it’s safe to love. Otherwise she becomes the man leading in a relationship that may end up very out of balance. Men need to think about their own daughters before they insist a woman goes above and beyond for a man that has no intention of marrying her. Period.

There aren't too many videos on that because men aren't on YT looking for videos about that. Men are watching videos on cars, plumbing, funny animals, etc. Women focus on relationships more. Sad but true.

Unfortunately women outnumber men. There are more females than males, it’s a natural balance as one woman can only make one baby per year but one man can make many babies per year. Women are also the emotional and physically vulnerable sex that seeks protection and provision from a man, men’s need is to spread their seed. So, sadly, inherently, Biologically, women tend to seek tying down a man more often than a man seeks to tie down a woman. Hence the volume of videos like this

@denisech33513 жыл бұрын
These tips are mostly helpful. However, I think an important message got lost here. You cannot change somebody’s mind. A guy needs to decide on his own if he is interested in getting married or not. So if a woman is interested in getting married, make sure the guy you’re dating has the same goals and values you do. Make sure he is interested in committing and understands that a relationship is work. Otherwise a woman can follow all the tips in this video and she will just be wasting her time.

Things Bern has made me see here: You must be vulnerable with a man, meaning you must be confident in your ability to express any vulnerability you maintain, whether it be, your needs, expectations, standards/boundaries for a future relationship together, When you don't bother to vulnerably express to him what it is that you need and/or expect in your relationship, you will be setting the relationship up for failure, and What's worse is that, you are also potentially bringing him down with you. Every man needs the opportunity to rise to the occasion, to step into HIS most alive, most masculine version of himself. If you deprive a man of this need, he will never be the best version of himself for you, and above all, for himself nor, for the Universe.

Spot on ☺ I feel like I am so far ahead of the competition thanks to your advice!
@beago08103 жыл бұрын
Exactly, it's a competition. Many women don't truly get that concept. Men don't like women who aren't as physically fit, feminine, and inspirational as they can be. Men want peaceful and non-argumentive women. I had men say, "why would I want a woman who tries to act like a man?" I'm straight, not gay. Exhibiting feminist behavior is a total turnoff to good quality men. It will keep you unattached with your only companion being your pet.

1. Need to be admired (requires behaving admirably, tho). Wants to be a hero (see above). 2. Need to be desired (desired for sex, but it's not because they only want sex, lol!!) 3. Need to feel "seen" (men have to be willing to show themselves, tho, and most don't). 4. Need to feel useful/adding value (need to be needed, then do what we ask instead of fighting us all the time). 5. Need our trust (you have to earn that, like it or not) 6. Need our respect (again, you have to earn that). 7. Need our standards and boundaries. (because he's a disordered mess and without a woman to say no, anything goes...yes, he really says this, so why would we want that kind of animal again?) Let me throw something out here. Everything men need, according to this, is dependent on a woman REPRESSING HERSELF. In other words, YOU MEN HAVE AN ARTIFICIAL SENSE OF WHAT DEFINES YOU. Women have to "need you," for example. For what? What if we don't? Are you less of a man? No. So wtf is that? A. A false requirement. How about need to be respected? Women need that, too. Are we less of a woman if you don't? Hell, no. So why do you feel less of a man? A. Because society filled your head with bullshit Alpha Male crap. "Respect my authority!" Eff that. I could go on but you should be getting the picture now. Women are independent now. We don't need Alphas, not even for reproduction. We can buy that. So you're going to have to come up with OTHER qualities that women want if you want us to keep you. Chest pounding ain't gonna do it. Monkeys do that. No one needs monkey men. Everything here is trying to program women to be weak, needy, or manipulative. Fuck that. We've been that for eternity and all we got was murdered, raped, beaten, abused, and left. We like you guys, you feel good for a while, but although this man here might be a good one, too many are not...And we've learned.

You've put great emphasis on respect and I believe that respect and healthy boundaries is what we value most and it'll make any relationship special and long lasting.....Thanks for your advise, I really enjoy ALL your videos and keep up the good work👍👏

Last part is sooo true. My ex left me & said how can I have respect for you if you don’t have it for your self to allow me to treat you so bad. Maybe if you would of said NO and put me in my place. I would of had more respect for you. I know that’s just his excuse. But I’ve learned and now I stand up for my self. Instead of giving so much that you loose your self and can’t even think for your self. What a difference it made in my new relationship. It’s like they thrive on it.

I admired him, I have desired him, I have made him feel seened, I have made him feel useful, he had my trust, I respected him but I didn’t share my standards because it was his way or the highway and when I actually told him how I felt he dumped me after three years ! I seriously feel so heartbroken 💔 and I don’t think I ever want to be in a relationship ever. I just feel like it’s too much hard work !

Thanks. Interesting and full of notes. I guess a few people including me are very poor in relationships. People are better of at out than in when like this...not to be judged as self centered Until these kind of people meet their likes it may never really do.

I have a need for someone who doesn’t have a need to need anything from me as a condition of relationship… I actually would like to learn something from my partner. Why would anyone have sex with anyone if they don’t desire them? I honestly feel like this advice is for a support group for men who are not fully aware of their potential.

About being seen, what if a man is not willing to open up to be seen? He’s a good man but he also closed up about his past. I tried to ask but he said there’s no need to stir up the past especially if it caused pain. I really don’t know how else to open him up. I feel like I don’t know who he was. I see him now as a responsible and mature man that I can trust, is that enough? Do I need to dig in his past to understand who he was and what mistakes he made to actually see him?
@EbbyGerl3 жыл бұрын
There is a chance you could end up judging him about his past even if you dont mean to. There is such a thin line when digging into a person's past.
@mariascales16823 жыл бұрын
Not really necessarily, just focus on how well he treats you, that he continues to honor his word, and show you true devotion and respect, I would lay everything else to rest, God bless!😇🙏🏽💙

Don't try to dig up his past. Accept him as he is. Just be an example as you share yourself being vulnerable. Ask him how he feels about easier topics. He wants to trust you but also being careful to see if he CAN trust you or not. Blessings!

It’s sad to me that our relationships are in jeopardy when our partner challenges us or helps us grow. I didn’t want to leave my marriage just because I felt challenged. It helped me grow, but based on all of this information, your partner will leave if they’re not adored and that’s not realistic.
