I love your food health tips, I'm trying to encourage a sick friend to incorporate into her diet. I pretty much use the same as you have described in this video but I like add weekly some boosting supplements in capsule or powder form. The ones that I see actual benefits from are: blackseed oil capsules, MSM powder, spirulina tablets, a complex of enzymes (especially if I've had a lot of meat or rich protein or too many cakes!) and finally green tea. Best, Alex

I would add garlic, raw sauerkraut and kimchi to that list and probably avocado as well 👍

As I've left it to late to start taking hrt I decided to research what foods I could take which might benefit me and might interest your followers. Here we go,Berries,Blueberries, strawberries, Raspberrys, Blackberries which from what I've researched will raise estrogen.I also read that a type of wheat bran is rich in ligands a type of phytoestrogen and also mentioned peaches.I've also read that high estrogen can be found in cashews, flaxseeds, chickpeas, alfalfa sprouts, dried fruit, cruciferous, berries and tofu.I also read in another article cashew nuts can draw calcium out of the bones and prunes can increase calcium to the bones and dates and soya beans have estrogen in them too. This is what I've read so I will be trying this out and hope it works. What are your thoughts on the information I have found?Once again thankyou to Liz and her team, I, as I'm sure your followers appreciate the information you guys pass onto us.❤

Phyto estrogens in food are very weak and many women do not possess the genes needed to convert to the type of estrogen the body needs, so may not be helpful. Would need to eat a very large amount daily to benefit, assuming you have the right genes to convert. So unreliable. Oxalates in some green veg, such as spinach, deplete minerals such as calcium. More info here: lizearlewellbeing.com/healthy-living/health/oxalates/ Hope helpful! Annie x

These items of food have always been good for you, love all of these,. Love Almonds my favourite nut.. I think the term superfluous was invented to make them look more attractive to buy, perhaps encourage customers to buy them. When I was growing up, these foods were a given to eat for their goodness, and nutrition. I had a great Mother, whom introduced me to different types of veg, and fruits, I believe that if you had a good start with good food, it really helps, I have never lost my love for these things. My Dear Mother made good hearty stews, that were so warming and satisfying. If I close my eyes U can still smell my Mothers cooking. The aroma of her big pot stews was so comforting.

If you soak the whole almond overnight in water, they are even more nutritious, dates, honey and black seed oil are superfoods i try to eat regularly.

Can I ask . . . I toast my flaked almonds and use them on almost everything! Are they as nutritious, and can they still be classified as a 'superfood' if toasted. Many thanks. Janie

Still a good source of protein, but Vitamin E depletes with toasting, so go lightly with that! Annie x
