True, noticed the same pattern in my previous relations. A guy just can't do what he actually wants without a girl over time either giving a side eye, or making those micro-drama actions, or nagging about it, or showing her displeasure by bringing chaos, or questioning what you're doing, because since it doesn't align with what _she_ likes it is somehow stupid, thus you should feel embarrassed.

@@Metallsturm It's men who are bitter because women have freedom. Patriarchy proves men have control issues. No men have ever been under the authority of a female version of the Taliban.

I just don't think women can understand a man's emotions... I'm not saying she is deficient... I'm just saying that her nature is different than that of a man... Emotions are experienced difference between men and women... I see it as placating to a woman's need to be useful... It doesn't actually help men... We say it does to make women feel better😅... But maybe it's just a personal experience... But I tell her what I feel she needs to know to chorale her emotions.

I know a man who just a few months into the marriage was rejected sexually by his “bride”. Even Locke south of the bedroom. He became despondent and suicidal. He attempted suicide. Then was taken into custody for his own safety and went inpatient for the first time in his life . While he was inpatient his dear sweet loving wife told him over the phone that she was leaving him. Then blamed his depression for why she was leaving him. Such an understanding and loving and caring woman. The depression that she contributed too was used as a weapon against him. Personally, I think he got off easy. She clearly is the one who is deeply messed up.

Feminism broke the social pressure on men to marry. Fewer mothers pressure sons to marry. And fewer men are held in esteem in society so men have less pressure to marry to gain entrance to the local society. “A man can be himself only so long as he is alone; and if he does not love solitude, he will not love freedom; for it is only when he is alone that he is really free.” ― Arthur Schopenhauer “If a man is not married at 30, it means that he has not been forced to get married yet. Men don’t get married because they want to get married, but because women want to get married” -Erich Remarque

Then one day I find myself having to live in an RV, hanging on by a thread because now I have 2 kids that would be fatherless if I didn't. They want to complain about emotional availability? lol Millions of guys have the same story. Our sons have watched their fathers live this out, that is, if they aren't alienated from their fathers. Don’t let women make feel guilty in regards to your children. This is their best long term strategy - accuse/blame - guilt - fear of loss( consequence), reconfirm. Rinse and repeat. My 9 old daughter can run this formula any time of the day. I was raised with no father. Still did well. But if you hanging by the thread, what example are you setting to your kids?! It’s better to retract, regroup reinvent and make yourself the best person you can be. Yeah, it will take a couple of years but you will come back in their lives as leading by example type, not buy a cat or a dog and die alone victim type. Good luck.

Emotional unavailability will come as a consequence of a man being hurt too many times. It's why "who hurt you" is especially devious to me. There comes a point when a man says, "Never again." HI, I enjoy listening to you and thought I'd share a few things I've learned over my decades in life. I used to raise sheep and colts. I had around a thousand sheep and a dozen brood mares, which I bred to either an appaloosa or mammoth stud. I used to trail my sheep from their summer ground to their winter ground which was a distance of over 30 miles. The number one rule with livestock or children (I had 5 sons) was to make the wrong thing difficult and the right thing easy. Keep in mind, I would herd the 1000 sheep on horseback with one dog. If I had a good lead ewe I'd keep her until she was too old to make the trip. She may be a half mile ahead of me and when she came to a crossroad, she'd turn around and look at me and all I had to do was signal her which way to go and she'd do it without question She knew if she tried to go against me, the dog would be on the way to correct her. Making the right thing easy and the wrong thing difficult works. The trouble is with women and children, the government has taken over as the head of the house and family and they don't know what the hell they are doing and they have screwed up marriage and familly sturcture making the man the servant of the family and not the leader, hence why men are opting out of legal marriage. Our role no longer exists.

When I was young, the Pub had 3 rooms. 1 the bar for men... called the bar 2 the bar for women - the lounge 3 the bar for both - the snug The women forced their way into the bar over the years. Before they did that, they would try and grill the men about the night because there was always lots of banter and laughter coming from the bar. They would especially try to grill their man if they'd been in the lounge and heard the fun. They couldn't stand not being part of it... and ultimately destroying it.

I was raised that men do not cry, like ever. It was literally beat into me, if I ever got crying as far back as I can remember (which so far is grade 2), I would get spanked with the belt or smacked with a wooden spoon on my hands if I even looked like I was going to cry or show emotions lol. It doesnt mean we do not have them, we were just conditioned to never show them because our emotions will be used to destroy us men. Men are the protectors, that means we also protect ourselves.

I know that I have always been overlooked by women that I was interested in while they chased their Chad.Today I am a 54yr old bachelor with no kids.I am a certified welder by trade and I live alone on my own country property here in Ontario Canada.I am also a black belt for over 27yrs and certified instructor in traditional Karate.I guess I would be one of those strong silent types that you mentioned?😂I would love to have a deep conversation with a woman like they mention but I know when I am talking with them that they are not very serious? So why would I commit if I am wasting my time?I think that this is where they get this emotionally detatched nonsense from because we see right through them playing their 11yr old early puberty games? This is more than likely why I personally gave up?I would also like to add that I have many years experience with many different types of horses. So I laughed when you mentioned it and yes you nailed it with me.🤣👍

Thank you, Erin. Women always want masculine men who are leaders, have confidence, and control. Why then, does the author try to redefine men with feminine traits they don't find attractive in men? It sounds like she should go to the university where she got this education and get her money back.

Very well expressed views on the differences between men and women, and some hints on how to avoid conflicts caused by those differences. Very perceptive, honest and true. Relationships are possible, but no effort, no results. Been married forty years, to a strong and trustworthy woman. It rocks!

A lot of us are perfectly capable of just dealing with our emotions on our own. But women make it out like they're more emotionally mature when they have zero control over their emotions. Also, all the stuff they complain about us not doing is super unattractive when we do it.

There are many problems that women have one is they don’t want to tell you what there body count is add to they want you to open up with your feelings, but they could also use that to weapon it against you. They’re more interested in what their friends tell them on their own.

I think I must be doing something right. I married a dirt poor farm girl who treats me like gold. And I’ve spent at least a hundred grand on hunting and fishing trips with the guys and never taken her. I’ve bought boats and trucks without even asking her what her opinion was. And she has no idea how much money we actually have. I highly recommend this strategy. If a woman complains about you going off the hunt for a week with the guys. Instant dump.

it is not just the women who said they did not need a man - it is women more broadly... however, when someone claims to speak for you and you remain silent.... All should understand - if you shame men for speaking their emotions, don't expect them to keep doing it. If you make clear that acknowledging female abusers is not acceptable, you made clear you supported them... (logic 101) - so why would he want to be around someone who clearly cheers on abusive women? Here - well - older women have done young women tremendous harm - because while we are finally being able to see abusive women, but still the change is dragging. So - what are men's experiences with being emotionally open? Have you done anything to make him expect that to be different? Even if you were never given the opportunity to have you actually emotionally supported him? No - well, then he will need rebuild time... and that will be alone, cause if he believes he can't express himself, and unless you have managed to build a personal reputation with being very different. Be careful of telling yourself you are - cause lots of women have asserted this, and discovered they laid a trap for themselves.

We are getting ready for what is to come. There will be many tears and sorrows. This nation is nearly divided enough to be conquered and fully controlled. Its going to be the same as China. No autonomy, the federal government will give you your rights and you will own nothing and be happy. The state will become God and the misery will be full. I don't know when Christ will return, but surely what is happening around the world is telling us we are in the "Birth Pains" of sorrow. If we don't speak out to the people that are running this show and emphasize this is a government by the people, for the people and of the people. If we don't, it will be a government by the evil, for the evil and of the evil. Hosea 4:6

This is a wicked world and the wicked have almost always been in control. But because it is near unto His coming, the devil knows it and is pulling all the stops to wage a desperate campaign which will ultimately result in the downfall of his kingdom. Like a terrible storm, the wicked will rage. And like the storm, their fury will soon cease forever.

I am optimistic for the post 2080s but between now and then there will be much gnashing of teeth. That's when most of the millennials and older genzs have passed away, dramatically reducing the single spinster population
