Looks like a lot of fun! Any plans for a french version of the game?

This one has been on my radar for a while, and I expected a good response.

Love this format for games you found out weren't so good or games that don't really have a lot to talk about. Feels like you're clearing out the checklist of games too review much more quickly so we can get to the more interesting ones (the really REALLY good ones and the hilariously bad ones). 👾

"The Rule-to-Fun ratio is off" is a very low-key burn. 🔥

We're Sinking looks pretty good. I wish more people in my area actually owned games for me to try before I buy.

I and both groups I played stalk exchange with really enjoyed it! It seems simple but when it clicks the choices matter and are tense, especially near the end. Also it's an easy teach and a fairly quick game which is always a plus.

I played Stalk Exchange at UKGE. It was a cool concept and a nice production, but I'm glad I resisted the urge to buy it. I like stock games, but I'm usually not excited by tile laying, and I'm not sure the stock portion actually felt like it worked well, but of course, that's hard to judge with just one play

Ooh what's the one with the little wooden snakes near the end?

I really enjoy this format especially for the bigger games of not doing an overview. Feels cleaner and doing it for big games just feels pointless.

I felt the same about Golden Cup. I played it at Essen and I was kind of disappointed. It's okay. It feels a bit too random and dry. It might seem like a strange thing to say, but I feel like I have more agency in Challengers, even though you mostly just flip cards. The biggest problem for me is that things feel too samey. In Challengers, your deck is going to be quite different game-to-game. That's not so in Golden Cup.

Midgard should be arriving soon - good thing I haven't played Boomerang

I was literally setting up clans Midgard today to play when I saw his review. Played it twice, nowhere near a 5 out of 10 like Tom says, 7 out of 10 is probably where I'm at, but I don't like drafting, so it might be higher for you. Watch the board game co review if you want to see the game get some praise.

You know you are in trouble when your game is being reviewed in a batch 😂😂😂
@FoeJredАй бұрын
That's an unfortunate way to look at it. A lot of these games are highly rated from Tom and others. Not every game can be from a big publisher.
