I wanted to add one piece of advice on the subject of not telling your friends everything. If you are a person that feels the need to constantly vent or express yourself verbally ; start journaling or creating voice memos in your phone. That’s a good way to release and let things out without actually telling another person. Btw, I really enjoyed this video and you look really pretty 🩷

the tip of not telling your friends and family things about your relationship is honestly such a slippery slope. my friend has been abused by her ex silently because she believed relationships no matter how dangerous and threatening should be private. that is NOT always the case. speaking up can save your life.

exactly. my relationship of 4 years got really abusive this year. i myself, always believed my relationship problems should be kept private. no matter how bad it got. although, when the abusive stuff started happening.. a few times I did speak to friends about feelings ( not the abusive stuff though ) & he knew i did that & got angry at me for it. he would verbally abuse me for “ talking to my friends about our relationship. “ turned very controlling & didn’t want me to have friends. welp, 2 months ago.. I finally came out of hiding & told friends & family about his verbal, physical & emotional abusive. I feel way better. yes I’ve journaled too but there’s just some things that others need to know for the sake of your safety. & its also ironic he never wanted me to tell neither.. he knew what he was doing & that he’s a chaotic maniac. he knew that if I told friends & family what he’s done that they would tell me I deserve better & he knew I did but didn’t want me to leave & get that better… & yk what? that’s exactly what I got. not a new man lol but slowly but surely learning to love myself again & feeling like myself. something he took from me.

this is crazy ironic bc the same happened to me recently before a partner of mine of 4 years ended. he dead look me into the eyes & said “ you’re evolving & I don’t like it “ LIKE WHAT !?!? @@madebymilan_ Charm and beauty is important to a lot of woman but having wisdom and a fear of the Lord is what brings all the value into your life as a woman. “Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.” Proverbs 31:30 NKJV Charm can be misleading Charm can be deceiving, and people can be deceived by it, especially when it comes to attraction. Beauty is vain Beauty is vain because it is useless and produces no result. A woman who fears the Lord will be praised A woman who fears the Lord will be praised throughout eternity because she lives in awe, wonder, and fear of the Lord. A woman's beauty is eternal A woman who honors God with her life will be beautiful and charming eternally. Value the valuable People should value the valuable, not the vain, and consider whether they value beauty and charm too much. Continuous growth and advancement: As you age you should be progressing in life. You should be growing and maturing. Your relationship with Christ should be deepening as well. As you spend time with Christ and get to know more of who He is, then your intimacy with Him will increase. You will then begin to experience Him more throughout your week. Learning and growing is a constant walk in life. It’s important that we continue going forward in life and growing in wisdom and knowledge. “When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.” I Corinthians 13:11 NKJV “And the Child grew and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace of God was upon Him.” Luke 2:40 NKJV “Get wisdom! Get understanding! Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth. Do not forsake her, and she will preserve you; Love her, and she will keep you. Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding. Exalt her, and she will promote you; She will bring you honor, when you embrace her. She will place on your head an ornament of grace; A crown of glory she will deliver to you.” Hear, my son, and receive my sayings, And the years of your life will be many. I have taught you in the way of wisdom; I have led you in right paths. When you walk, your steps will not be hindered, And when you run, you will not stumble. Take firm hold of instruction, do not let go; Keep her, for she is your life. Do not enter the path of the wicked, And do not walk in the way of evil. Avoid it, do not travel on it; Turn away from it and pass on.” Proverbs 4:5-15 NKJV “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” Joshua 1:8 NKJV “For the Lord grants wisdom! From his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest. He is a shield to those who walk with integrity. He guards the paths of the just and protects those who are faithful to him. Then you will understand what is right, just, and fair, and you will find the right way to go. For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will fill you with joy. Wise choices will watch over you. Understanding will keep you safe.” Proverbs 2:6-11 NLT “If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.” James 1:5 NLT “But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere.” James 3:17 NLT [there’s so much scripture about wisdom, understanding and knowledge] “But the path of the just is like the shining sun, That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.” Proverbs 4:18 NKJV Advancement is God’s desire for everyone, incremental greatness is Gods desire for everyone that It should never be based on God‘s thinking, and based on Gods expectation that you have to look back into yesterday simply because your tomorrow is pale and frail in glory. The glory that the Lord has invested upon the Believer is the GLORY that excels. That means God expects increase, advancement and progress in every aspect of your life. “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.” Luke 2:52 NKJV •Jesus increased! Jesus our mortal of Gods expectation for the believers. For the sake of those connected to your grace, GO FOWARD! For the sake of your children go FOWARD! For the sake of all the souls connected to your apostle ship GO FOWARD! Inspite of the obstacles go FOWARD! Mindset: “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:2 NKJV “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,” Philippians 2:5 NKJV Jesus did not just win because he was Son of God, there was a mindset that kept VICTORY in His life. Even if satan is not in existence, a poor mediocre mindset already tends to defeat. Mindset. The decision to be transformed! The riches that you have received in this life flows through a transformed mind. If your mind is not transformed, the potential of your salvation cannot be made manifest. TRANSFORMATION IS KEY. It is a part of transformation to know about getting materials to build your mind is better than getting clothes to live a fake life for now, dress your mind and your mind will dress your body. But if you dress your body and leave your mind, your mind will have to strip the clothes on your body to cover your shame. The choice is yours. So you see someone who is transformed, buying a Bible, buying materials, traveling from place to place, praying everyday. This person may be in one small room fasting and praying every time you see that person studying, someone might ask “don’t you enjoy your life?” He knows that every time does not provide every opportunity and he must walk the works of him who sent him while it is day for the night cometh on every man. “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work” is a verse from the Bible, John 9:4. Some say that this verse is a reminder to be ready to do God's will at any time and to fulfill God's purpose for our lives. Others say that it's a call to give oneself enthusiastically to tasks that can make a difference in someone's life, because opportunities like these are usually short-term.” This is what you get when you come to church, TRANSFORMATION. Your friends who were your friends yesterday, You’re not even aware that they’re no longer your friends because something has changed. Transformation produces dissociation. The next time they call you, you will not have a common ground for discussion that’s how you know you have grown. The things you were discussing yesterday, your priorities, your interests have been altered now. While you hear them speaking on mediocre things, gossiping about others, you tell them “you no longer have that passion anymore. I have seen that if I waste this gift God gave me and I’m not ready to allow you to make me waste this gift.” Learning from Trial/errors/mistakes: You can’t go back in time, but what you can do is learn from your past mistakes. Mistakes makes us stronger because they are learning experiences. The way you view things will shape every single moment and experience in your life. Every time you make a mistake don’t be so quick to shame yourself but give yourself grace as God has given you grace, instead repent and ask yourself, “what can I do to be better and how can I let this teach me and transform me?” What matters most is what you do next. “Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.” “Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,” Philippians 3:13 NKJV “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.” Revelation 3:19 NKJV God allows things to happen in our lives so it can help us, mold us and make us better. “To do evil is like sport to a fool, But a man of understanding has wisdom.” Proverbs 10:23 NKJV

As a 20 year old with a neurodivergent sparkle, I don’t really understand the “keep things to yourself” mentality. Of course, there’s some information that isn’t always necessary to share but, how far do we take that? How do we *truly* connect with others if we’re not vulnerable ourselves? Are we meant to struggle alone and only share once we’ve fought and hopefully won the war? I really don’t understand. I’m someone who needs genuine, deep emotional connections. I like being open about my life and experiences so that I may connect and learn from others, especially those who are older than me. For example, if I hadn’t been open about my health struggles to my older, wiser peers, I wouldn’t be undergoing a cancer screening as we speak. Sometimes everything isn’t “fine”, and if you don’t speak up you’ll continue to gaslight yourself. I think vulnerability should be encouraged, and it shouldn’t be your problem if someone takes advantage of that. I understand wanting to protect yourself from negative energies but as a child of God, anything done unto me will be returned tenfold. Speak and connect with your friends and family, you will be able to discern who is for you and who is not. I’m very appreciative of this video but that take maybe isn’t for me personally. It’s rare for me to meet people my age who aren’t closed off about their personal lives, finances, etc. Like what do you even talk about??Tiktok?

When girls say “turn their brain off” I think in a way it can be good to take off some mental load once in a while. It’s a scary world and women (atleast me and the women in my life)have to be alert 3x more when alone than if I was in the presence of a masculine I trusted (weather it’s family, friend, romantic). I don’t need all that cortisol all the time lmao😅 women Alr are stressed in this world. Letting my brain turn off doesn’t mean I don’t wanna make any decisions for myself, it’s more certain parts of my brain tht are worried get to be turned off for a little while. I do see though how at times women can use that term to sorta infantilize themselves.

It’s the “why??🤨” for me when talking about shutting your brain off while with a man! Amen! I definitely agree that it’s okay to feel relaxed and safe but to completely turn it off like your a lost duck and he’s just leading you is a big no because you must still be whole on your own.

Heavy on the stop seeking validation from others! Thats one of the things I would struggle with so much, but the thing is the real truth is that you alone have the answers, you’re just only seeking for someone else to confirm if what you know to be true is actually true when you know it is but you want a yes or you want someone else to clap for you to make you so sure it’s the right choice! The more you do that the more you are no longer in control of YOUR life! Friends, family, partner.. don’t matter! This is your life, you know you more then anybody knows you but GOD. Whoooooo! I love this video 😂😂

OMG, I LOVE THIS VIDEO!! Empowering women to step into the empowered state of femininity which is sooo beautiful + magnetic. When women play small it only plays into that nasty stereotype that we are incapable of handling ourselves as functioning adults. Massive Amen to you for sharing this message 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿

You’re 18 and feeling lost? Lost to what? You just started life. Don’t let the devil make you think because you’re 18 you must be doing some indefinite with your life. that’s NOT how life works. Life is NOT a straight line, life is NOT something that can be noted down for others because LIFE CHANGES. God does not, seek him and you won’t feel lost. Your soul desires things the earth cannot give and that’s why you feel lost. ❤

When it comes to knowing thyself it is important to get to know yourself as much as possible but it is important to know yourself completely. Look into this psychology concept called the Johari Window, it’s interesting and some food for thought

Thank you girl . I was about to get this apartment for yrs . I finally got the apartment, my first apartment ever and I turn 30 January. I regret telling my friends and family abt it . They guilt trip me . Thinking I was making the worst decision and I should stay with my dad . Whereas , I have always wanted to move. Now I am moving confidently and don’t have to tell anyone nothing and don’t feel guilt.

I just want to say you very much so chewed with this video. I think so often women try to let social media think for them unintentionally just because we’re consuming so much content that there isn’t enough platforms where we can be met with different opinions, which makes us think. I feel like when you reminded a woman not to turn her brain off all the time and the difference between being a girl and being a woman Speaks a lot to the relevance of being precise with your wording. I loved this video!
