Tips written out here: Writing these Greece travel tips out: 1. Mykonos and Santorinj are much more expensive and there are other cheaper, just as great islands to check out too 2. July and August are the most expensive months 3. Greek Bakery-affordable food option available most places 4. Do free activities like watching a sunset, going on a hike, going to a beach 5. Look for free walking tours with archaeologists or historians 6. If a menu has pictures, it is probably too touristy 7. Get an international drivers license ahead of your trip

We are flying into Athens July 29th, and wish to see The Parthenon/Acropolis early the next morning. Is it possible to get tickets in advance to help avoid waiting long in a line? If not, when do they open and when should we be in line? Thanks.

If you were to design a trip that included 12 months in Greece with each month on a different island, what islands would you select and which month for each?

Wow that is a tough question! After a loooot of thought... I would have to say 1. January -Aegina the perfect retreat close to Athens to wind down and prepare for the year ahead! 2. February - Rhodes to explore the medieval history 3. March - Crete to witness the season change and enjoy the crisp spring mornings and first dip in the sea 4. April - Corfu to experience the amazing traditions around Easter 5. May - Santorini to watch every majestic sunset 6. June - Lemnos to eat all the delicious cheese and food and enjoy the beaches 7. July - Kythera to trek, hike, bike and swim all in the same day 8. August - Mykonos because you have to at least once! 9. September - Chios to experience the mastiha harvest and taste the famous sweets 10. October - Hydra to wind down and explore more amazing greek history 11. November - Naxos or Milos to enjoy the beautiful beaches and little picturesque villages 12. December - Syros to admire the architecture and join in on the local winter festivities What about you?

Thank you - what a great response! I have only been to Crete, Corfu, Mykonos and Santorini. However, with retirement comes time to explore. I will definitely look at each of the islands you recommended. Thank you again.

hi, i'll be going to few greek islands next summer. i am 20 years old, will i be able to rent a car? if so, could you recommend me any company? i've been doing some research and it says that the minimum age is 21 for renting a car, and 19 for renting a scooter -however, i read that you need an A license, and i have the car license:B-. Is there any form of transportation that i can hire? I imagine it wont be possible to explore the islands any other way. Thanks for your time🤍

Hi. How does the summer 2021 look like if you are planning a island hopping ? Lockdowns? Are the ferries operating? Anything open in smaller islands ?

I have the same question you want to go there by Julie

I only understood Crete. Some text of how to spell these islands would be helpful!
