After a lifetime of confusion, I figured this out at age 58 in 2020: I went Westman-style keto and in months I had lost 50 lbs and regained vibrant, even athletic, health. I knew a old fella he lived into his 90’s ate a full breakfast most days smoked cigarettes for over 70 years,and drank like a fish!

Just eat 2 meals a day, and make the first way after you wake up. Coffee is your breakfast.

I can't believe that it's that bad for you that oatmeal has so many negative aspects to eating it I don't eat it everyday I eat it probably twice a week and when I eat it I mixed it with flaxseed chopped walnuts and either blackberries blueberries or raspberries

It's very bad because most don't know how to prepare it properly. It has to be soaked for a minimum of 8 hours and rinsed before cooking it. That removes the anti nutrients that block several vitamins from reacting in your body.

My dad ate bacon, drank half n half from the container and ate fried food almost every day. He lived to 96. Died from a freak health incident that could have been prevented.

The thing I notice is when you ditch a lot of these sugar laden junk food items and substitute less processed and healthier options, if you go back and eat them again, they just taste wrong. Once you are used to black coffee, you won't bother with creamer again. If you down a sugary drink from the local gas station, it will taste horrendous. As they say in Little Britain, Fat Fighters, don't have an ice cream, have an ice cube🤣

In the 1960's the government published the Standard American Diet piramid (aka SAD). Since then diabetes has SKYROCETED along with obesity. Print it out and do not eat anything on it. Butter and eggs are 2 of the true health foods to consume every day.

Coffee and (most) tea is a no-go for people with histamine intolerance or oxalate issues. Same for dairy except certain yogurts. Not much left to eat or drink for breakfasts. Maybe just skip and consider it intermittent fasting?

I sometimes have oats, but they are organic, with walnuts, cinnamon, flax and chia seeds, pinch salt, and small amount of milk(binds the oxalates), all organic. Sometimes tsp healthy oil. It is a savory dish instead of sweet! Other days I eat egg, mushroom, brocolli with turmeric and pepper and oilive oil, all organic. Also have organic coffee, cacao, cinnamon and small amount milk over ice-yes learned to like my coffee unsweetened too. Then I work out. My bp went back down to normal. Sugar and chemicals are certainly nonos for me. Now I am curious about the oats. I am trying to figure out how to balance cholesterol and protein needs.

I used to like kimchi I bought in the supermarket imported from Korea until I discovered high fructose corn syrup in the ingredients…I used to think it was healthy and made Chicken Kimchi soup with it…..no more….moral always check and research ingredients

@@michaelcan Go to an Asian Market I your area, they will have many different varieties of Kimchi without any additives. In the regular grocery store here, the traditional kimchi doesn’t have any additives either, it’s all delicious.

I left out bread & oaty Breakfasts quite a while back, but have been using oat crackers ? Now I'm concerned..Oatmeal is considered a cholesterol lowering must have 4 high blood pressure , I need to understand the Oat danger ??@ No 3 of top stroke breakfasts..Flip, I've been thinking of making Pumpkin crackers but 50grms costing moŕe than 2kilos of oats...I did Find at £25 a kilo 4 pumpkin flour but havn't yet figured out a cracker recipe...but a pumpkin pancake I guess is good x❤x❤x

So, what to eat if all of these are bad for the health?. Oatmeal is bad, cereals, toasted bread, bagel , and everything else. I’ll just drink coffee or tea then and just eat fruits, no other healthy food for breakfast if this is true.

Pasture grass fed eggs.. whole or raw milk.. organic coconut oil for a sweetener..avocados.. Dr. Berg explains more.. but the in depth Dr.. is Osbourne.. wow.. I've learned so much and now it explains a lot about how my body was feeling.. im 64 and now I feel 30 with lots of energy.. ☺️

Good video! American oats and grains are sprayed with so many chemicals even the organic fields have residue from the sprayed fields. Home made bread should allow for the bread to rise at least 24 hours in the refrigerator. Coffee creamer is in my repertoire because of intolerance to lactose. I usually only have fresh fruits and vegetables, cage free organic eggs, nothing that walks in all fours (red meat allergy after a tick bite). All of my vitals from bloodwork are perfect so I don’t think a little sugar free creamer will kill me. Love the slow pace of talking in the video.

Eggs yolks are equivalent to a multi-vitamin and multi-mineral and enzymes supplement. Everybody should eat 4 eggs at least every day. They lower cholesterol not raise it. Our liver manufactures cholesterol for us. That food pyramid? Just another Big lie. In your case I must tell you all olive oils are not the same.

The world has been consuming meat and processed meat since the beginning of time. I was happy with the commentary until you got to processed meat. We've been eating processes meat for thousands of years. It's the only way we could keep it, fish too, by smoking and salting it and we're still here. Salt only makes us thirsty. All we have to do is have a drink to balance out our salt intake. I'm fed up with the crap about salt, blame sugar all you like but leave salt alone.
