Hi, a very accurate review. I used these panniers on my T120 (after watching the Fillingham review) with no issues. Toured Wales in the rain, N Devon and recently the Picos (returning via Roscoff). Contents remained dry. Some don’t like the appearance, but I couldn’t see them when on the bike. Us pensioners think alike😂.

Brilliant, we love real world reviews and feedback. Glad to hear they held up well across 2700 miles of unpleasant European weather :) Love it. Thanks Team lomo :)

Glad you made it back safely Richard. I hope that you had a memorable trip. Excellent review on the Lomo Pannier Luggage. They look like good quality @ a good price. I hope that you will soon be releasing some footage of your trip. I will be looking forward to that. Thanks for taking your time with this video. Have a beautiful day! Cheers!! Illinois

Hi Larry, great to hear from you. Really interesting soft luggage for the price. I am practicing what you said, stop waffling 👍, There might be a bit of waffling in the Austria footage but forgive me on that one 👍. You have a great day too 😄

@@bankruptpensioner Glad to hear that Richard. Your a great guy! We all have things to work on; I got plenty. Just keep up the great content , but tune down the repetition & you'll be there. If I didn't care about you I would have said nothing. I didn't read any suggestions from anybody else. Cheers!!

Thank you very much. Indeed this was very useful and informative. An honest real life review of these paniers. Cheers. P.S. I have the identical T120 I just purchased 3 weeks ago. Beauty of a bike I must say.

Hi Kevin, thanks 👍. Looks like we both made a good choice on bikes 😆. The T120 across Europe, in not so great weather, was faultless (as one would expect from Triumph 😆) 👍

Interesting. I have a T120 black and I've done three European trips with these same bags. I'm on the north coast of Spain now (Llanes - beautiful little town). I never got my head round the straps to stop it flapping so i use cable ties instead. I don't take them off for the trip. Instead, I use two Eurohike dry bags inside the Lomos. At the end of the day I take these out only and leave the Lomos on the bike. If I'm camping then my wet and cold weather stuff stays in the right hand lomo bag over night within the inner bag. My motorbike jacket and wool rug seat cover go in the other lomo after I've removed the inner Eurohike bag with essentials in. The bags are great and super dry. Apologies for banging on. Blame the Asturias cider!

Great idea with the bags Steven. I will try that on the next ride 👍

I have a an old 60ltr lomo dry bag had it years still totally waterproof and it's been all over Europe for 15 years ,not pretty but bloody dependable.

Hi Kev, now that's a statement confirming durability. 15 years, wow 👍

Definitely good value. High quality. One for road trips rather than daily use due to fiddly opening. I also find best to not use full capacity to make it more user friendly.

I agree Tim and a good point made regard overfilling 👍

Morning Richard hope you had a great trip but it looks a bit of a faff getting them on and off compared to the rocket panniers they are brilliant I’d get both off in the time you undone one strap I appreciate that the rocket has been designed for them but they are a amazing design for getting them on and off but I will admit I haven’t used them yet anyway but I know they cost probably 5 times as much as the lomo pity the weather was so bad for your trip but the weather here now seems to be changing for the better happy days take care mate

Hi Nicholas, great trip but weather not so great. Had to escape Austria for warmer climates but that video comes soon. The straps are a bit of a faff however, they are great value for money I guess.

I like the look of those BP they should be used in conjunction with pannier frames to keep them off your back wheel i would say. I much prefer soft luggage. Good review.
@bankruptpensioner7 ай бұрын
They are very good for the money Gordon and you are right, frames are required ensuring the pannier noes not fall into the wheel 👍

Hello from south Mississippi USA. These look almost too good to be true! Can you give me an estimate on about how much weight (in pounds please...lol) you were carrying in each of those bags? It looked to be on the heavy side based on how you lifted them off the bike. I'd be carrying mostly tools, security chain, battery powered inflator, chain lube, bike cover etc. The chain and tools would weigh the most. I'm wondering how well the bottoms hold their shape with those types of cargo. I could possibly fabricate a stiffener for the bottom if neccessary. Best regards, Ken
@bankruptpensioner10 күн бұрын
Hey Ken 👍 go to be at least 20 pounds a side. Really tough. BTW - there is a couple of straps that go under the seat - offering a little security from theft.
@ianhalliwell86047 ай бұрын
Obviously with time you got used to those panniers but they did look quite a faff to me. Perhaps if your going to do a lot more touring a more permanent, if expensive, option would suit you better.
@bankruptpensioner7 ай бұрын
Just had a message Ian from another sub, he leaves the bags on the bike and uses liners for his stuff. I might try that next time
