beside for trucks i dont really see the need for that. Peak charge rates are nice but the important part will be to maintain that charge rate, we will reach the point soon where its simply fast enough and charging any faster only to save a few minutes will become irrelevant.

Awesome! When I’m not able to drive that rout myself and had to fly down to Trondheim, you do the drive for me. I see you use exactly the same stalls I use for charging at Klett and Mosjøen. I have a couple of pro-tips as a commuter of this exact rout with a Taycan and knows how they perform in these conditions. It seems that you consistently use more than 20kWh/100km. You need to put it in efficient mode. The Taycan should be able to complete that trip in Range Mode in around 17-18kWh/100km if you feather the throttle and staying within 10% of the speed limits. At Klett, you should take advantage of the high power charging until you have enough juice to do the 400kms to Mosjøen without charging. At Mosjøen you should try the MER charger at Circle-K instead of the 50kW Veefill Recharge charger as it delivers closer to 50kW the whole time, approx 3-5kW’s charge current than the one you used in Mosjøen. Using these tips I think you’d be looking at completing the 1000kms in around half an hour less time. Looking forward to the 1000kms going south.

The value of this car compared to the Taycan is something to think about. This very GT model starts at €93k, for that you get leather, electronic dampers, quatrro and POWER with a 0-60 comparable to the 4S. A base Taycan RWD starts 95k, less power, cloth seats, spring dampers. Granted that for the purists and pundits the Porsche seems to have better driving dynamics, road noise dampening and brakes. Personally, the value, the looks and the GT style of ride make it the one for me. And in all black, it's just a sexy Mofo

Thanks for the great content as always. The car seems amazing (on par with its price, I guess) Those fake sounds really infuriate me (especially if you can't disable them). Noise is a nuisance! People have been intoxicated for so long with engine noise that they don't realise that it's not desirable. Please stop this nonsense. And to the people saying that it's for security reason. It's on the same level as when car were first introduced on roads. You had to have a guy with a flag walking 100m in front of the car to prevent accident.... If you need to hear a car in order to not be ramed over, it means you have a real big problem.

Good vehicle, but very far from Tesla. Big issue: no FSD and range not enough.

@@sunfarm1963 Yup, and I chose Audi. It's not the best at everything, but it's by far the better overall car to daily drive and live with.

@@biff2bart509 I am living in a big city Vancouver Canada and often using FSD Tesla + 540 km one charge much better than 380km on Audi. It's depends for me comfort and efficiency first and brand name second.

@@sunfarm1963 If comfort is important for you then you should have chosen the Audi... Interior quality and seats are miles ahead of Tesla. Also, FSD exists in name only you're supposed to keep you hands on the wheel according to Tesla. And If driving on the highway you can get the same assist in other cars including the E-tron. Range on the E-tron GT is 490km. And it charges MUCH faster than a Tesla which means unless your drive is exactly 500km you'll get there at least as fast in the E-tron.
