Immediately, when your videos pop up, I stop everything to know how you are doing. The new trailer, Big Orange, Bayley, You, the home front, your loads and securement, etc, has had my intense interest for several years. Thanks.

One Vet to another, Thank You. We both have been lucky to have a strong woman as our wife. Mine followed me around the world and to both sides of the country. Emily, at 83, went to her reward over 9 years ago; I miss her very much. My son is an 'over the road' driver, so I know what you put up with. Stay strong my friend.

The wheel wells and strapping is the reason I ditched the step deck and went baxk to good old flatbed. And the minimal size boxes for storage made it tough also.

80 feet! Wow, that's long. Might be a little hard to park that thing some places. Hard to get around in it some places too. When I started driving some states had a length limit of 55 feet. I think it was New Jersey. Missouri I am pretty sure was 65 feet.

Safe Travels. Love ❤❤❤Miss Bailey❤❤❤. Give her hugs, smooches, & scratches behind each ear. I can attest to cold showers. My Army Guard unit was activated & deployed to Saudi Arabia to KKMC for Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Only showers we had until a QM Shower unit showed up, were ice cold showers fashioned from aircraft drop tanks painted black in hopes of the water heating up. We had to wear the charcoal lined chemical suits for 48 hours @ the start of Desert Storm. A cold shower never felt so ‘good’ getting that charcoal crap off our bodies.

First delivery with the new trailer and of course its a muddy job sight.
@janeandmikewolf19 сағат бұрын
We always look forward to Bailey and you in her videos…I have a question about the overall length. Am I wrong in seeing that most states allow up to 75 feet overall in a single trailer combination? I know there are now 57 foot trailers, and combo units way longer. Do you need to register at the longer length or permit? Just a curious guy here.

SuperTrucksterDan, you are the man! With your long a** Pete (and oh how I miss my '74), and your brand new semi dirty Dorsey stepdeck, you no doubtedly probably the envy of the interstates, and the back roads, and I envy your achievement, because I used to be where you are now back in the 70's & 80's! So good luck with your brand new "Dorsey" stepdeck, and again I'm sorry about Cali, but remember, like the movie, "All Dogs Go To Heaven!" So take care, and stay safe, and always expect the unexpected! Sincerely, "The Retired, The Original BlueDiamond!"

Hey Dan, Berlin WI is in my neck of the woods. It is pronounced Brr-lynn. You have to put the stress on the first syllable. If you put the stress on the second syllable like Berlin Germany, they will look at you like you are from Mars. I don't know why our Berlin is pronounced that way but it's always been that way.

Think you need to re measure you length. Do it straight on the ground. You lose a little every time when the tape bends around.
@gillap13117 сағат бұрын
Hello Dan... I am just wondering what is the advantages of a step deck? Your load of generators could have easily fitted on your other Dorsey trailer where you have room to put your lumber and tarps out of sight!
@darylthisdelle770220 сағат бұрын
Dan Dan the professional step deck man. You sure know how to tie a load down Mr. Daniel. Yup the step and your Pete look great together. Eighty feet long, myself I like long wheel base tractors with a 53 ft. I find they ride much better and now with your loads being closer to the ground high center gravity loads will be a walk in the park, so much less flopping around. Busy on the road and busy at home, Dan does it all. Great video and now the wife is happy, you know the old saying , happy wife happy life. Have a great and a safe day. Happy trails to you,D…
@TheSAM2SMOOVE4U17 сағат бұрын
Hey Trucker! I wonder if your fuel mileage will increase considering the “either/or” loads will be under the draft from ur sleeper now 🤔 let us know!
@roadhazard200220 сағат бұрын
Just curious why don't you put the put the trailer axles together? It will help with fuel mileage and tire wear.
@bigjon155819 сағат бұрын
The back end of the trailer doesn't bounce as much when they are spread making for a better ride. Tire wear is tire wear.
