This was the one of the best sequences on TAFS so far. Nick is easily the GOAT at discussing tv and movies that only he has watched, he remembers every detail, every racist moment, every voice he can do an impression of, he’s been at it for almost a decade now. TAFS really should just be nick rattling off media he’s watched while Adam mildly chimes in.

That movie was an adaptation of a book. The book was inspired by a real case. In the real life case the victims where two little white sisters named Julie and Marcie Scott and the assailant was a black man named Willie James Harris. @@-BuddyGuy So, in your head the way they wrote the character was "racist"? 🤔
@-BuddyGuy9 күн бұрын
@@baller84milw Yeah absolutely, that is part of what Nick is making fun of. Is this supposed to be a gotcha moment or something, cause it seems like if you didn't think that while listening you wouldn't really be following along with what Nick is making fun of.
@baller84milw9 күн бұрын
@@-BuddyGuy No, he's making fun of the security guard being racist, but then the takeaway seemingly being that he has a poor attitude and it was his fault-my counter point is that the character legitimately did have a bad attitude before that scene earlier in the show. Also, if you legitimately think that's a "racist" or unreasonable depiction of a black character, you're just telling us that you never lived around black people before ✌🏼
@-BuddyGuy9 күн бұрын
@@baller84milw Yeah he did have a bad attitude but I struggle to see how you think this isn't a function of the screenwriting, and wasn't the subject of Nick's joke in the first place. Yes it is clearly racist man, so is your final sentence. I've lived around, worked with and befriended a lot of black people and no, they don't all have a bad attitude, obviously. I'm not American and I'm not into their culture war, it's boring. But hands down the people with he shittiest attitudes I met there were: Angry macho guys in Phoenix that were obsessed with being manly and stopping immigration. They had guys mowing their lawns in 120 degree heat and also wanted them gone. Their lifted trucks advertised their inadequacies. Really weak people. 2: Cosmopolitan, diverse, but rich types in New York that bored me to tears with their constant claims of victim status, having grown up in the middle of opportunity. They thought they were their first generation parents but they definitely weren't. Also very weak minded. So I'm not on one side here just so you know. But you're missing an important point of the joke.

I just finished watching Hell On Wheels. Good show, great acting, but almost none of its characters survive. You could really tell that it was being written at the same time as Game Of Thrones success, and they thought zeroing out the entire cast was trendy and would get people watching.
